Our verdict

Loved by Mumsnetters with multiples, and for good reason, the iCandy Peach 7 Twin is the latest in iCandy’s popular range of double buggies. Its tandem design and versatile seat and carrycot options (both world- and parent-facing) make it a practical choice for growing families.

Rather than having to purchase your own buggy board for older siblings, the Peach 7 Twin features an integrated Ride-On Board and comes with two approved overnight carrycots, making it highly versatile. With a range of neutral colours to choose from, an aluminium frame, and leather accents, this model is as stylish as it is practical.

After four weeks of testing the stroller with her two-month-old twins, Tara shared, “I absolutely love the look of the Peach 7 Twin, it’s very aesthetically pleasing! The carrycots feel so comfy and overall the pram is made from such good quality material.”

While she noted the carrycots look a little squished in tandem mode and the space in the storage basket below is compromised, she appreciated the thoughtful design: “ This stroller is narrow enough to fit through most doors, plus the extra accessories are really useful like the cup holder, parasol and small changing bag.” Tara would definitely recommend the Peach 7 Twin, adding, “In fact, I already have as my friend is expecting twins!”

How we tested the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller

  • Four weeks of using the iCandy Peach 7 Twin every day as a main stroller

  • Tested with two-month-old twins

  • Used on dog walks, trips to the shops and on public transport

During the four weeks of testing, twin mum Tara put the iCandy Peach 7 Twin through its paces on a range of different terrains. The stroller fared very well on shopping trips and muddy dog walks, and Tara loved how versatile the seats are, giving plenty of different seating options for her twins, and how easy the stroller is to adapt and push - despite managing twins.

She noted: “I use the stroller every day on all different terrains. Mainly to walk my dog. To get to my local field you have to go across gravel and then onto a mud path. This buggy has been fine on this terrain as well as walking across grass and normal footpaths!.”

How easy is the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller to assemble?

The Peach 7 Twin is fairly simple to assemble, though Tara feels it’s a two-person job, especially after the birth of twins. She said, “The buggy was easy to put up; it was just a clip to put the frame up and then everything else attached. I would definitely say it’s a two-person job as the hoods need to be attached to the carrycots and they also need to be built.”

While the instructions were clear, Tara noted, “If you get stuck, there is always a YouTube video to watch.” She added that assembling it on her own with twins to care for was tricky. The stroller can be used in both world- and parent-facing modes, with easy-to-follow instructions for switching between them.

iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller: how does it look?

The Peach 7 Twin retains the stylish, high-quality design that made its predecessor, the Peach 6, a favourite among parents. With an aluminium frame available in two finishes including a striking golden option and a choice of seven neutral tones, it’s a stroller that suits any taste or gender preference. Details like the leather accents on the handlebar and bumper bar also give it a polished and stylish look.

During testing, Tara was particularly impressed by the Peach 7 Twin’s design. She chose the beige colour and shared, “The buggy looks very aesthetically pleasing, and the material is lovely and soft. The quality is amazing—you can tell it’s been well made. I’ve only used it in colder weather, but it’s lovely and warm. The breathable fabric seems perfect for warmer months, and there’s an extra section on the canopy that unzips to block the sun.”

The Peach 7 Twin is made with soft, premium jersey fabric—known for being stretchy, breathable, and durable—providing both comfort for your baby and resilience for everyday use.

Plus, its robust, puncture-proof tyres make it well-suited for a variety of terrains. As a tandem buggy, the Peach 7 Twin is more compact than side-by-side models like the Bugaboo Donkey 5 and is 2kg lighter (12.9 versus 14.9kg) when used in double mode, making it more convenient and easier to manoeuvre with twins. Tara summed it up best: she loved the overall design and functionality of the Peach 7.

iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller: is it safe and sturdy?

The Peach 7 Twin got top scores for safety. Tara put all aspects of the stroller to the test to see how sturdy it is and how likely it is to topple over and, even with two carrycots on and a changing bag clipped on the handlebar, the Peach 7 Twin stood firm.

We like that the seats recline to four positions and have a five-point harness, as well as bumper bars across the seats and carrycots for added safety. One of the updates on the Peach 7 Twin is that the carrycot has been approved for overnight sleeping so you can get plenty of use out of it. Tara felt that her young twins were very safe in the stroller which is her top priority.

She noted: “I find the stroller very safe and sturdy. I haven’t seen any elements to it that could trap small fingers. I haven’t used the harness as I’m still only using the carrycots but it’s a solid five-point harness and feels very secure. Much more secure than the others I’ve seen.”

The car seat and seats all clip in easily and securely when changing the configurations of the stroller, with the option to change the direction of the seats. Tara says: “The only issue with one of the configurations is that it’s awkward to get my child in and out of the carrycot because of the handlebar but both children are very secure in the carrycots.”

The brake feels secure and clicks on and off easily with the top of your foot, but it can be tricky to locate when the stroller is in twin mode. Tara adds, “I’ve used it on an incline, and it hasn’t moved. It’s located on the right-hand side of the frame and is easy to clip and unclip, although when the carrycots are in a certain position, it can be hard to see.”

How comfortable is the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller?

Very! Tara says her twins looked very comfortable in the fleece-lined carrycots. To use the carrycot overnight, simply lower the canopy and zip off the stroller apron to create a Moses basket or travel cot.

Tara says, “One thing to note is that the carrycots are quite small but I think my children like being able to touch the sides with their arms. You can’t adjust different heights with the carrycots as they just about fit on top of each other but you can have them two different ways. I haven’t tried the seats yet as my twins are too small.”

The Peach 7 Twin seats are 36cm in width and 20mm longer than the Peach 6’s so can accommodate children weighing up to 25kg each. The Peach 7 Twin also has adjustable head support as well as an adjustable calf rest so there’s plenty of space for children to grow.

“Both the sun canopy and shades are UV protective which is great. As I’m using the carrycots at the moment, my twins aren’t fully covered by the sun with these but that’s where the parasol comes in handy,” says Tara.

What is the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller like to use day-to-day?

Whether you’re running errands or heading to the park, the Peach 7 Twin performs well on all terrains and could be considered as an all-terrain pram, rather than your average pushchair. It's slightly larger, puncture-proof tyres make navigating gravel, muddy paths and grass effortless. Tara found it especially easy to push, even on uneven surfaces.

She says, “The Peach 7 Twin is really easy to manoeuvre. Going up and down kerbs is no problem, and even though I got stuck on some raised gravel once, it was simple to get around. It’s narrow enough to get in and out of shops without any hassle, which is a big plus. While the stroller does feel a bit long with the extra carrycot attached, that’s totally normal for a tandem and doesn’t get in the way too much.

The handlebar is made from soft leather and is extendable so it’s comfortable to push for parents of different heights. “Even though I’ve used two carrycots on this stroller at the same time, it’s still really lightweight. My other twin pram was so heavy I had to lift it at the front to get it up and down kerbs, etc. The Peach 7 Twin has been really helpful as I’ve had a C-section so I needed something lightweight.”

The storage basket is a good size too and can fit more than enough for your day out including a changing bag, however, with two carrycots on the chassis, it does take up some of the storage space. You can, however, clip your changing bag onto the front handle and can still fit items in the basket. The Peach 7 now features a handy rear seat pocket on the seat unit, perfect for storing essentials like your purse, phone, or keys when you don’t want to carry a bag. However, Tara did encounter an issue with the rain covers.

“The stroller comes with a rain cover which is great value for money, however I’ve only used it once, and while rain covers are always a bit fiddly, I found the second one particularly tricky to put on.” She goes on to explain, "There’s no space between the first and second carrycot, so I had to just rest it over the carrycot instead of fitting it properly.”

On a positive note, the Peach 7 Twin now comes with an in-built Ride-on Board, making it perfect for parents with older children. It’s also great value for money, as parents won’t need to buy a separate buggy board for older siblings.

Is the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller easy to use on public transport?

The Peach 7 Twin has a tandem design rather than side-to-side, so it’s narrower for steering and getting on and off public transport. It doesn’t fold down easily though so may be tricky in smaller spaces.

Tara, noted:I’ve used this stroller on a train and it has been easy to manoeuvre on and off/round to the seats. I haven’t used it on a tube or bus but the fact that it’s as narrow as a regular buggy is a bonus.”

Does the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller fit in a standard car boot?

The Peach 7 Twin doesn’t fold as compactly as some other double buggies like the Cybex Gazelle S, and all the parts need to be stored separately. While the chassis folds down fairly small, the two seats or carrycots can take up considerable space in a car boot, making it less ideal for parents with smaller cars. Removing the wheels can help make it a bit more compact, though that adds extra hassle on busy mornings.

Tara noted, however, that “it does easily fit in a car boot. I have a seven-seater, and the two seats are always folded down to make more space. Even with the pram in there, there’s still a lot of room. The carrycots do take up a lot of space, but that’s to be expected with two.”

iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller: how easy is it to fold?

The folding mechanism on the Peach 7 Twin is a four-step process which is fairly easy to do, however, it can’t be done one-handed. To fold, start by removing the seats and/or carrycot, then remove the adaptors, press the button on the handlebar and push down on the handle. Then, lift up the carry strap on the basket to fold the chassis. To unfold, press the grey release button and lift up the handle.

While it is simple, our tester, Tara, did have to watch a video to learn how to do it. She noted: “Once you know what you’re doing, it's easy to fold and unfold. It locks into place and there’s a strap so you can put it over your shoulder to carry.”

iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller: Does it come with accessories?

As outlined above, the Peach 7 Twin package includes the chassis, Cocoon car seats with ISOFIX bases, seat frames, seat fabrics, and carrycots with mattresses and fabrics. A rain cover is also included.

The following accessories are sold separately as part of the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller package:

Is the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller easy to clean?

Yes! iCandy have made sure that the fabrics and frame on the Peach 7 Twin are robust and hassle-free. Plus, the seat fabrics can be removed and machine washed, and the frame can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

Tara says,The buggy is really easy to clean, I spilled hot chocolate on the cover of the carrycot (it spilled from the cup holder whilst walking on gravel). I just removed the cover and followed the washing instructions which were simple enough.”

Do you think the iCandy Peach 7 Twin stroller is good value for money?

Yes, but at first Tara thought the Peach 7 Twin was a bit pricey. However, she said, “After using it, I’d say it’s totally worth it, especially with all the extras you don’t need to buy separately.”

Sitting at the higher end of the market alongside the Bugaboo Donkey 5, the Peach 7 is definitely an investment, but it’s one that can grow with your family. It’s packed with versatility and high-quality features, making it a strong choice if you’re after a pram that can do it all.

The materials are sturdy and well-made, with a range of attractive colour options to suit different tastes. It’s not just about looks, though—it offers a smooth ride for your baby and is comfortable to push, no matter your height. You can use it from birth with a carrycot, right up until around six years old, and it supports multiple seat configurations to adapt as your family grows.
