The Cosori Dual Air Fryer was a great addition to my kitchen. Before using it, I was a newbie to the world of air fryers and a frequent oven user—however, during testing I found that I could use this dual air fryer instead of the oven 90% of the time.

The two baskets are big enough to handle most food and they allowed me to separate vegetarian food from meat, which was extremely useful in a household where we often cook different meals due to dietary requirements. The baskets are also dishwasher safe and non-stick so they were very easy to clean.

I also liked the Cosori's stylish, modern design, with a digital control panel that is completely flat and easy to keep clean—it looked great on my kitchen counter.

The only downsides to the air fryer are that it is quite bulky—with two baskets it does fill up a lot of counter space. In addition, I found that you can’t pre-heat and sync both baskets to finish cooking at the same time, which is a very minor complaint. Overall however, I am very happy with the air fryer and would not do without it now!

Cooking in the Cosori Dual Zone Air Fryer: how easy is it to use?

COSORI Dual Air Fryer

It was easy to get the Cosori set up and a brief read of the (short and simple) instructions was the only thing I needed to feel confident using it.

The control panel, despite having multiple settings including the ability to grill, roast and bake as well as air fry, is really straightforward. The air fryer also allows you to input the cooking time and temperature for one basket and then transfer the same settings over to the other basket with just one button press.

There's a pre-heat function and ‘shake’ setting (this beeps to alert you when it's time to shake/turn the food halfway through cooking), both of which are very useful.

The air fryer also came with accessories, including a grill and skewers, which I used to cook chicken skewers to great success—though I did find these a little difficult to turn over within the basket. The sync cook setting worked well but didn't function properly when I used the pre-heat function—this was a minor inconvenience that I managed to work around.

Cosori Dual Air Fryer performance: how were the results?

Food cooked in the Cosori Dual Basket Air Fryer

Overall, I’ve been very happy with the results from the Cosori. My partner and I have cooked various things in there from oven chips and mozzarella sticks to chicken kebabs and vegetarian chicken Kievs. I found it quicker and easier than using the oven—taking less time and being a lot easier to clean!

The air fry function works well with most foods, though it did take me some time to work out the ‘right’ heat and time setting to use to get the best results. I’ve cooked homemade chips and oven fries, both turned out wonderfully crispy.

I liked the handy viewing windows that allowed me to keep an eye on the food cooking without taking the baskets out—this helped me to figure out whether the timing was looking OK. It's also worth noting that viewing windows aren't standard for all air fryer models (even premium Ninja air fryers don't have windows), so this feature sets the Cosori apart.

Another highlight is that the Cosori has been perfect for keeping vegetarian food separate from meat as they can be cooked in the different baskets, which has been super useful in my household.

Corsori Dual Air Fryer 8.5L: design and style

This Cosori model has a sleek, modern design with a stylish control panel. However, given it has two baskets, it does take up a fair amount of counter space. Luckily, this wasn’t an issue in my kitchen as I did still have a good amount of space to work with in front of the air fryer, but if you had a smaller counter top, you may find it too bulky (in which case, Mumsnet's guide to the best small air fryers may help!).

The Cosori baskets have been big enough to hold everything that I’ve wanted to cook in them. Even if I’d been cooking for more than just three or four people, I am confident it would handle it well.

Is the Cosori Dual Air Fryer easy to clean?

Inside the Cosori Dual Air Fryer baskets

The Cosori was extremely easy to clean. Both the baskets and grill trays are dishwasher safe and non-stick, plus they're easy to remove to ensure everything gets well cleaned.

It was also very easy to clean the Cosori baskets by hand without the need for excessive scrubbing. The air fryer itself was easy and quick to wipe down too thanks to its flat digital control panel.

Price: is the Cosori Dual Air Fryer worth it?

In my opinion, the Cosori is worth the money; it has significantly reduced my reliance on the oven, makes cooking easier and avoids the ‘oven-shelf shuffle.’ After using it for a couple of months, I wouldn’t want to do without it!
