How well does the Bosch Series 4 WAN28201GB Freestanding Washing Machine clean, rinse and spin?
The performance of the Bosch Series 4 WAN28201GB is exceptional. It boasts 14 wash programmes to suit different laundry needs. We love the Quick Wash option for when we are in a hurry, and the EcoPerfect feature helps us save energy without compromising on cleanliness.
While this machine isn’t a washer dryer, its 1,400rpm spin speed means our clothes come out almost dry, reducing drying time significantly. The VarioDrum technology ensures gentle yet thorough cleaning, preventing wear and tear on our clothes.

Is it energy-efficient?
Overall, this washing machine is highly energy-efficient, and I've noticed a reduction in my utility bills since switching to this appliance, which is an added bonus in these current times.
It has an ‘A’ rating for energy efficiency, with an average energy consumption of 0.56 kWh per cycle for a partial load using the 40°C cotton programme.
The VarioPerfect feature has two functions: SpeedPerfect and EcoPerfect. If you select EcoPerfect for your wash, it cuts the energy use in half. SpeedPerfect shortens the wash time.
Based on 220 standard washing cycles, this machine uses around 9,900 litres of water per year of water, which is around 45 litres per cycle.
