Where is the vitriol? Some people are making bizarre accusations, like Meghan is being compared to Myra Hindley or that she's been accused of facilitating child abuse. Completely nuts stuff from some.

As for arresting him, no one actually arrested Thomas Markle after the 2018 investigation, which suggests its findings didn't warrant arresting him.

IF the met police come out and verify this letter story, then I will take back a lot of what I have said about Meghan.

However at the moment the FBI and police haven't verified there are images or even a letter. Its just accusations. If that cant be verified shes told some fibs that she cant take back.

For the same reason you owe Meghan no explanation why you went NC with (lets say) your MIL, she owes you no explanation why she went NC with her dad. This said... publicly declaring "I'm NC with my dad because of an ongoing investigation" is basically having the Daily mail go bonkers and dig into "said ongoing investigation" and splash the whole thing into the tabloids which is probably not what the police want if they're in the midst of an investigation.

The Met police owe you (and I) no explanation of a case they had to deal with 10 years ago.

Verifying that a letter was sent is meaningless. Anyone can send a letter, with all sorts of motives.

The only relevant thing is the result of the investigation the letter triggered - and given that no action was taken against Thomas Markle, it suggests that the investigation did not find enough evidence to charge him.

Imagine knowing your father watches child abuse material and saying absolutely nothing about it for 8 years

So, the 2018 allegations can't be the reason her father wasn't at the wedding and so Charles - a man she turned against very publicly - had to walk her down the aisle instead.

The story was broken by The Sun, as alleged by her estranged brother. So The Sun is ok now? Why wasn't her brother at the wedding?

But, yeah, she is using this story as an opportunity to conduct her battle with the media and fix her own narrative.

So she learned of the allegations and then wrote that sugary “dear daddy” letter which got “leaked” to the press and she sued about? Right. Ok. All the time believing what she had been briefed on? Hmmm.

It's reasonable to presume vetting is part and parcel of joining that wretched family. Maybe I should also question what that paedo loving/protecting bunch did with this discovery 8 years ago. It's most unlikely this is news to them.
