To be disappointed Dolly Parton supported biological men using women's toilets?

I am disappointed in any woman who is not on the side of women. Famous or not, whether I know them or not. Disappointed that they actively prioritise men's needs above those of their own sex. Or disappointed that they've not thought critically enough to see the difference. Or because they are just following the herd in the virtue signalling stampede today.

Disappointed isn't a strong enough word, come to think of it.

It started with them bringing in my views on trans people to a thread about a single mother dating, then she started searching through my posts and she brought up my past in prison and my marriage, then she started saying that I am fraudulently claiming benefits and a bursary at my son's private school.

Around the same time, someone else was posting what I thought were genuine posts in my threads and giving me other mentions. I'd reply in good faith and then their message would be deleted. I think they must have been sock puppets or something. You can see some of it at the end of my AMA thread.

It was all very weird. A few posts by a few posters over different days that kept bringing my views and opinions from other threads, especially trans ones, to unrelated threads.

MN were on the ball though and deleted any I reported plus ones that I didn't even know were problematic.

Definitely radicalised. Especially the ones who seem to know when a woman posts she is ok with trans people, then five minutes later is like a storm of locusts.

It's laughable people keep saying "the people who's feminism includes men" as some kind of dit when describing feminists who include everyone who believes in equality and dignity and respect between the sexes. If rather that then try to claim to be feminist but I spend my spare time slagging off other women online as handmaidens, dick panderers with a bunch of men.

It wouldn't matter if people didn't try to paint FWR as all women concerned about women's rights and didn't get so offended whenever people point how much it's requested by men and is becoming more misogynistic to women considered "dim" ( which in most cases is a successful intelligent woman holding her own opinion) but sure those people have women's rights in hand 🙄

Not sure about the good part. However, a sane and sensible woman who takes a moment to pause and think would agree that whilst we can respect the choices of some men who believe they are somehow women, and we can treat them with respect, it would be insane to disregard sex in favour of "gender".

To do so, ie to agree that any man can become a woman, invites a bonfire of safeguarding, not to mention erases equality of opportunity for women.

So your feminism does include men, just not the ones that post on FWR? And by equality you mean giving in to some men's demands to enter female only spaces, even if that means women who object to that aren't allowed to oppose that. For what its worth, my feminism doesn't include men who can't accept a no.

I imagine your single or maybe in a same sex relationship? I prioritise my husband and my sons. None of these issues are black and white.

I went to university when only 15% of the population did. I am 58. I came of age in the 80s. I have no issue with men however they present but I won't be silent where there is risk of harm or disadvantage to women and girls.

I am saying that women and girls need physical protection from men, in certain circumstances, and to be separate from men in other circumstances (sports, other types of competition) because of physical and systematic disadvantage. Erase sex and all of this disappears in a puff of smoke.

Why are people like you so insistent on making other women agree with you? I couldn’t care less about men in my spaces, in a frock, cock or no cock, as a 55 year old educated woman I can decide whether to care

however I respect the rights of women who do care, for whatever reason, take precedence over my viewpoint.
