Masked men at Dover - KKK vibes

They are utter cowards and hypocritical. The same ilk will state they're against the burkha and protests by environmental groups etc. but are happy to mask their faces in 'protest' the reality is they're just nasty specimens of humanity, full of people with self righteous white supremacy tendencies. AIBU.

Please tell me how I’m ‘extremely racist’?

You just called me a white supremacist, you are oddly making this a race thing, when i was just commenting on being very concerned about illegal men coming into the the country without documentation, men that can and have been violent to a lot of white women and white children, which is a fact.
Stick with the topic

It does. But numerous posters appear to believe that if we rid the country of immigrants it will be a land of milk and honey. I was just pointing out that there are many regions where it's not immigrants who are poisoning communities.

Whataboutery

I live in an area where a certain white group cause issues. It doesn't stop me from caring about what's happening in the rest of the country though. Plus, we have our own influx of migrants, so
there's twice as much to worry about now.

If that's the case I pity you and nothing can be done for you.

Youll be ok though, I have a feeling.

No, I said ‘if you believe X, then I would consider you a white supremacist’.

The men you believe you have so much in common with have highly probably been violent to white women.

You say it’s not about race for you and yet you only mention being worried about harm to white women and children.

Again, tell me how any of that makes me ‘extremely racist’?

Ridiculous to say KKK vibes. People have simply had enough of the government not listening or doing anything about the boat situation. When pamphlets are being produced to try and explain that women and girls should not be raped, it's obvious that we've completely lost control. I feel sad and anxious every day about the dreadful state this wonderful country is becoming. The Dover protesters are masked because anyone who dares try to stand up for their country risks being banged up in jail. Unless we have a government who starts looking after it's citizens, people are going to become increasingly angry.

And as a black British woman with mixed race daughters and a son, I would not feel comfortable being in the street, or a train carriage, with silent, balaclava clad men, or knowing my children were. And if you think my comfort matters less than yours, I’d consider you a white supremacist.

Yes, that's what makes me uncomfortable, and why I would think they weren't safe to be around.
They're not "protecting women and children" at all.
Only the ones they think worthy of saving which sickens me.
If you're white and think they stand for all women's safety, you're deluded.

Looks like Tommo has admitted he was paid to set this up, and the funds are linked to some interesting characters.

Anyone who thinks this is about stopping the boats or protecting UK citizens is wrong. Paid for disruption is never about citizens, it’s always about power.

It always is.

The same as BLM was and the current Pro Palestinian marches are. People being manipulated and fed distorted information by third parties intent on creating anarchy and disruption.
Take an element of truth, put a spin on it, add a bit of shock/horror and rely on the fact that very few will actually check facts and will join up in the mistaken belief they are doing something positive.

Serious criminals who can’t just fly in on private jet??

No they dont have any money for private jets, why do you think they want to come here!!? Dear or dear

I suspect that pp hadn’t realised the significance of that point at all, and just thought we’d all share her view since ‘white women and children’ have been harmed by immigrant men. Actually we don’t know the ethnicity of all the women who’ve been sexually assaulted by immigrant men, and we never will because they have a lifelong right to anonymity. I wonder why they assume that only white women and girls are at risk.

Jesus Christ. A huge net across the sea?

What an amazing, practical and not at all completely ridiculous suggestion!

Let's spend untold billions of pounds rigging up a net that would somehow stop dinghies but let the hundreds of ferries and merchant ships which use the Channel every day pass freely through without disruption. Why didn't we think of that before??

The thing is, stopping the boats is hard. Nobody wants them. The government would love nothing more than to stop them. But it's really very difficult, and the overstretched military probably have better things to be doing.

Nobody knows how to stop them, least of all these balaclava wearing thugs.

A net across the sea was slightly tongue in cheek. As I hoped I made clear by saying luckily Im not in charge. But gorgeous of you to give it your wise assessment as to the prospects of success 🤣.

The main role of government is to defend the country. And many people have described the influx of undocumented males from countries we have recently been at war with and who may not have our best interests at heart as an invasion. I think at this stage, given the government has clearly failed in defending our borders and doesn't seem to have the intention or will to do much about it, the military are entirely appropriate and a perfectly good use of their time. They can check what the Russian subs going through the Channel are up to at the same time.

Yes because it’s about tiny numbers of people fleeing problems we the UK and others have started in their home countries. The people making these protests when interviewed make white supremacist statements and can’t explain why Ukrainian refugees are different

Ukrainians do not have a history nor do they feel its acceptable to rape or attack uk women and children upon their arrival

Ukraine don’t have a history of what? They are literally at war fighting for their history.

Smokeywater · Yesterday 19:05

It’s the numbers coming here that feed racism - anyone who thinks increasing the population by millions when the country is financially crippled , especially of different culture to the majority white and mainly men is a good thing is not being honest

No your England is groups of young men coming on small boats to harass young girls. Who believe that the streets are paved with gold. It's women being made into second class citizens. It's the archbishop of Canterbury saying there should be Sharia law in parts of the UK. It's white college students being stabbed, then arrested because they were called racist. It's British soldiers being hacked to death on the streets.

It's children attending a pop concert in Manchester being blown up.

That's your perfect England. It's not mine.

Immigrant men have an offending rate similar to British men - in fact somewhat lower.
We would not be supporting them for years if we changed the rules so that they could work as in many other countries. It makes no sense to prevent them working when we have jobs which can't be filled. ( See the Government list of jobs that need filling.)
With the crisis situation we face with a birth rate of 1.39 children per woman, when we need 2.1 children per woman if we are not to have a crisis of underpopulation.
We desperately need people to come here to work so that our elderly can retire at a reasonable age. We can't keep raising the retirement age so that the poorest and those who have been working in unskilled manual labour jobs eg have fewer and fewer years of retirement. Unskilled male life expectancy 71-73, professionals 79-80. How is that right?
( NB Some countries eg China eg allow most women to retire at 55. only the managers retire at 60. Still much younger than we retire!)

NeedAnyHelpWithThatPaperBag · Yesterday 19:07

I hate to say it, but maybe the police in general are going to have to go back to being a force rather than a service again, as the days of softly softly working look like they're being severely tested...

NonViolentProtest · Yesterday 19:07

They are brownshirts from 1930s Germany. A page from history which taught us that you must stand up to cowardly thugs like this.

Oh right, is that what she meant?

I don’t know why more people aren’t in favour of the same system in other countries. Make the decision at an earlier point and then you can legitimately detain and deport undocumented arrivals.

Because you’d have to opt out of international laws which is a sticking point with all this.

Well, no, you could adopt the exact same system as applied in Ukraine and was entirely legal and the same across Europe.

You’d still have the refugee convention which means you can arrive in any way to apply.

So you’d need to end that.

Because it is white women and children that are predominantly being attacked, do you you not watch the news?
As a woman I dont want ANY woman or child to suffer at the hands of ANY man, be they white, black purple or green.
I will reiterate once again that I have concerns about men, of any race entering the country illegally.
Iwill not be called a white supremacist for that.
