We savvy shoppers here at MNHQ like to think we know a thing or two about getting the best value at LEGO®. Especially since I personally spent quite some time hunting for the best LEGO set for my eldest DC for Christmas last year.

While many retailers promise great LEGO® deals throughout the year, there's no better place to go for genuine deals and discounts than to LEGO® directly.

If you’re a parent of a brick-obsessed child or you and your DH are fans yourselves, you’ll no doubt have heard about the brand’s loyalty scheme, the LEGO® Insiders program

LEGO® is a great way for kids to learn how to challenge themselves and get creative.

This free to join membership offers access to exclusive discounts, member-only products and incredible rewards all year round.

By becoming a LEGO® Insider, you'll earn points for virtually any LEGO® purchase you make, whether that's online at LEGO.com, in-store at official LEGO® Stores, or through participating partners.

These points can then be redeemed for perks, like:

  • discounts on future LEGO® orders

  • access to exclusive LEGO® sets and products

  • tickets to special events

  • and entry into member-only sweepstakes.

So, the more you and your family engage with the LEGO® brand - whether that's making purchases, taking surveys, or connecting on the LEGO® Insiders Facebook page - the more points you'll accumulate to spend on incredible rewards.

LEGO® is a brilliant toy for enabling kids to build whatever they can imagine. When they're slightly older, they may want to build and keep the "set piece", but let them play however they like.

But how does this save you money, we hear you ask? Well, as a LEGO® Insider, you’ll gain access to special member-only deals and discounts, ensuring that you get the best value when buying LEGO®.

Who can join LEGO® Insiders?

It doesn’t cost anything to be a member of the LEGO® Insiders program, and it’s only available to adults aged 18 and above. In fact, I'm personally a member now after ordering DC's Christmas presents!

Although, children of any age can sign up for a LEGO® account but, if they are under 16, their parent/guardian has to give permission via a verified parental consent (VPC). Plus, teenagers aged 16 to 17 years old can open their own LEGO account without parent/guardian permission.

Remember, while the LEGO® Insiders program is open to adults, the whole family can get involved and start earning points together.

How to sign up to LEGO® Insiders

Getting started as a LEGO® Insider is quick and easy. Simply head to LEGO.com/insiders, click "Join Now," and fill out the brief registration form.

Once you're all signed up, start exploring the LEGO® Insiders platform to discover the wealth of benefits on offer.

You can browse the Rewards Center to see the latest exclusive products and experiences you can redeem your points for, check the LEGO® Insiders calendar for upcoming events and offers, and connect with the vibrant online community of fellow LEGO® fans.

There are a few exceptions when spending your points, though, including earning or redeeming them when buying LEGO® Gift Cards.

Plus, the LEGO® Insiders program only applies to purchases made on LEGO.com, at official LEGO® Stores and at participating partners and locations. And finally, you should avoid sharing or transferring your points to someone else - this could result in your account being closed.

About LEGO®

Founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen, LEGO is one of the world's leading manufacturers of play materials.

As children shape their own worlds with LEGO bricks, we play our part in having a positive impact on the world they live in today and will inherit in the future. LEGO play starts to release a child’s potential from the moment they pick up their first brick, and inspires and develops the builders of tomorrow. We strive to consistently deliver experiences that embody the spirit of our brand name, which is derived from the words "play well" in Danish.

By creating fun experiences inspired by our unique building system that combine logic and reasoning with playfulness and imagination, we prepare our playful learners for life.
