Typically, those of us with an apple body shape have relatively broader shoulders than hips, with a larger bust and waist compared to proportionally slimmer legs.

I like Levi 501s now - they work perfectly for a less hippy figure as they're a unisex jean. They're not skinny jeans but straight cut. I find them incredibly comfortable and practical. They don't work for pear and hourglass women with much bigger hip-waist ratios but they fit me perfectly.
