Just now

NotTerfNorCis Mon 23-Mar-20 15:00:54

Mind boggled.

rabbitsnose Mon 23-Mar-20 15:02:05

He's apparently making a political comeback

JellyfishandShells Mon 23-Mar-20 15:03:00

Was not expecting that :/

Yamayo Mon 23-Mar-20 15:03:47

What happened? I haven't followed the case closely.
Surprise verdict or not?

NotTerfNorCis Mon 23-Mar-20 15:03:48

So they're saying all ten or so of the alleged victims lied?

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles Mon 23-Mar-20 15:06:34

Well fuck me. So one man's word really is more believable than ten women's words?

Babdoc Mon 23-Mar-20 15:07:39

Were the entire jury bloody SNP supporters? I can’t see any other reason for saying that all ten wonen were lying and that sleazebag was telling the truth. He will be fucking insufferable now and think he’s above the law.

ByGaslight Mon 23-Mar-20 15:07:45

I don't know how this happened. All these women: liars apparently, or just making a big old fuss about nothing. He's a sleekit wee shite.

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles Mon 23-Mar-20 15:08:02

His fucking face leaving the court...

TeaMilkNoSugarThanks Mon 23-Mar-20 15:08:34

Jeez. I didn't see that coming at ALL.

ibizarocks Mon 23-Mar-20 15:09:08

Unbelievable and actually very scary to be a female in Scotland now

ParkheadParadise Mon 23-Mar-20 15:09:24

Unbelievable

I can't bloody stand him.

LizA49 Mon 23-Mar-20 15:11:00

F*cksake. Total disgrace. And I say that as an snp voter.

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles Mon 23-Mar-20 15:11:01

"My brilliant legal team who are actually exceptional"

I have to turn it off

ItsAllGoingToBeFine Mon 23-Mar-20 15:12:07

This is why he was found not guilty

wingsoverscotland.com/an-innocent-man/

The whole thing has been handled incredibly badly.

milksoffagain Mon 23-Mar-20 15:12:07

NO!!!

Al1Langdownthecleghole Mon 23-Mar-20 15:15:31

How?? Seriously how?

JKScot4 Mon 23-Mar-20 15:15:47

If you actually read the ‘evidence’ it wasn’t exactly solid, I’m mystified why the PF even took to court.
He said/she said cases can go either way.

SapatSea Mon 23-Mar-20 15:15:55

I despair!!

margotsdevil Mon 23-Mar-20 15:16:43

It was not proven for one of them. Really disappointed in this though.

XDownwiththissortofthingX Mon 23-Mar-20 15:18:18

Not remotely surprising. Prosecution case was farcical from start to finish. Only reasonable outcome. Restores some faith in trial by jury.

TheNavigator Mon 23-Mar-20 15:21:48

It sucks to be a woman in Scotland today. Our First Minister was above the law and knew he could get away with being a gropey sleazebag using women for his entertainment - and he just did.

Even his defence had to say he didn't behave well. The civil service said women shouldn't be alone with him in Bute House. This is Scottish civic society in 2020 - women, ken yer place.

GloGirl Mon 23-Mar-20 15:22:45

Fuck.
