Join Sheila Jeffreys, Nicole Jones and Anne Ruzylo for the We Need To Talk event Inconvenient Women on Wednesday 13th June 7-10pm in London.
Lesbian feminists Sheila Jeffreys and Nicole Jones discuss the implications of transgender rights activism for women and children.
Sheila Jeffreys, Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne, will analyse the Yogyakarta Principles, the foundations of the promotion of gender identity in international law.
Nicole Jones is an art sudent student and activist and will discuss how these laws will affect us. Former Labour Women's Officer and trade unionist, Anne Ruzylo, will chair the meeting.
This meeting will be filmed by TV broadcasters and live streamed.
Due to violent opposition to these meetings from transactivists we cannot disclose the venue details.
Meeting point is Costa Coffee, 1 Duke's Road, London WC1H 9PJ near Euston station from 6pm. There will someone there to direct you to the nearby venue until 7pm.
Both the cafe and the venue are fully accessible for disabled attendees.
