The link is a big collection of how many trans activists responded to the women's March.

I must admit, I've had a good chuckle at some of these!

Well I'm disgusted that a womens march didn't totally focus on the important trans issues. I mean biology is sooooo 2015, everyone knows it's all about feelz now.

I didn't see a massive critique of Donald Trumps massive transphobia.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry tbh.

But surely, if they recognise themselves as women they would be marching too? They wouldn't care about Vulvas and genitalia because (as they say) that's not what makes them women!! Smh 🤦‍♂️

Cissexism?
What the actual fuck!

So the women's march was about women's issues and there's something wrong with that?

When will we learn that our focus must ALWAYS be on men?

Never Alistair.

Pussy power, the uterus signs etc were in response to Trump's "locker room talk." Pussy owners should be able to object to this kind of talk. Not one sign said "transwoman = man". Or even "penises go home". No of this was teansphobic or terf in the slightest.

Wow. Imagine the audacity of women not putting trans women at the centre of the protest! They seem to use a lot of fancy words when "women - know your place" would be far catchier.

I have mixed feelings about the trans issue. But really, this? The protest was against the erosion of biological rights and against Trump's disgusting personal attitude towards female anatomy. The pussy signs directly referenced his famous quote. Whatever your beliefs, there were very specific reasons for those signs.

Has Trump sexually assaulted a trans-woman?

If not - is that proof that he is trans-phobic?

Let's set the trans activists on the White House, that should keep them entertained for a while. "Grab my pseudo pussy, you monster"

I think this march was huge in terms of trans rights. It put them firmly where they should be in terms of activism by women and highlighted that the term transphobia is so meaningless that it's beginning to lose its power. Yes, trans rights are important but it's an aside for most women in their political activism not the reason d'etre.

I have never seen women being allowed to talk openly and freely about their bodies. Taking back ownership of the word pussy was hugely symbolic and highlighted exactly that it's because of biology that women are identified as women. It highlighted that women's sexual organs are very much up for women to own and not men.

I'm so used to all the transactivists having the biggest say in things and feeling defeated so it was uplifting to see women using the term women as it should be used. They still called out transphobia but it was clear that over a million women don't believe that transphobia is as defined by transactivists.

And I suspect that a huge part of this was that the women marching weren't just young but from all ages and walks of life. Transwomen were welcomed, they just weren't feted or centred and in a women's march, that just feels fair and as inclusive as it needs to be.

Omfg. Professionally offended and utterly self-centred. But rather funny in their po-faced seriousness and irony-free zone.
