I'm sorting my self out, starting from tomorrow.

So fed up with mindlessly eating crap day after day. I'm getting fatter by the week and I've had enough.

I will be weighing myself tomorrow morning.

Please join me.

OK. Me too. I have a big event next month and want to at least have nicer skin and less bloating.

MillieMoodle Sun 09-Feb-20 20:07:29

I'm in! I've been making a half-hearted attempt since the beginning of the year and have lost about 4lbs, but not had any real motivation. I need to be answerable to people! I've got 2 stone that I want to lose by the end of June, as we're going away in July. Am aiming for the first stone to be gone by Easter.
I don't eat loads but I don't do any exercise at all and I really need to start!

Edel2019 Sun 09-Feb-20 20:08:59

Yes! I'm in.

Beechview Sun 09-Feb-20 20:10:03

Yes me. I took a selfie today and looked terrible and really unhealthy. My skin is dull, my eyes look tired with dark circles and I need to lose a couple of stone.
So from tomorrow,
Fasting and low carb.
Hot flannel oil wash every night
Multi vit daily
Lots of water
30 mins exercise
Bed by 11

I’m sure that will sort me out. Hopefully I can stick with it.

forevergreen Sun 09-Feb-20 20:10:32

Thanks for joining me.

Not sure how much weight I need to drop but I'm guessing around 2.5 stones. I'm dreading the scales tomorrow but I need a starting point.

Shall we have Mondays as weigh in day?

Me too please! Same situation as Milliemoodle except I have 3 stone to lose!

Noshowlomo Sun 09-Feb-20 20:14:47

YES YES!!! I had my baby last March, and had lost all my baby weight and more by June. Anyway... I have no gained 2 stone since June and I am the heaviest I have ever been and feel disgusting! My hip hurts, I feel plain and dowdy and I’m dreading summer.
IM WITH YOU!!!

twinkledag Sun 09-Feb-20 20:15:00

Omg I was just about to start a thread on here with the title 'I've let myself go'!

I'm so in and ready to do this.

Over the past 5 years since have DC I have been on a diet. Sometimes I lose sometimes I gain. But for a while I've just been gaining and I'm the heaviest I've ever been.

Over the past 3.5 years I have had multiple rounds of failed IVF (four 🙁) and a miscarriage. This has led me to have a 'fuck it' and 'what's the point' attitude.

The other day I saw a photo of myself and I looked huge. My husband kindly told me that I'm the biggest he's seen me and will support me in trying to lose weight and encourage me to exercise and not feel guilty about leaving DC/a messy house/batch cooking etc. I have to make sacrifices to lose weight.

So I'm in! And ready to support anyone who needs it ☺️

PlatoAteMySnozcumber Sun 09-Feb-20 20:16:24

Yes! I need to shift the last two stone of second baby weight, it was so easy with the first, sigh. I am a saint all week but weekends go to pot and I end up having a few drinks and eating ‘proper’ food at the weekend. I am not getting any fatter but am not shifting the extra weight. I don’t have time to go to the gym and feel like life is hard enough with work and two young children that I find it hard to cut out the little luxuries. Age and metabolism are not on my side sadly.

I have a holiday booked for the summer and feel very self conscious being a tubby version of myself. The only realistic option is to hit the gym and quit the booze. Need to motivate myself so please count me in!

BiscuitMachine Sun 09-Feb-20 20:16:26

Can I join too? I need to do something. I've gradually put a stone on since changing my job a year ago, and need to sort myself out. So:

Less biscuits etc (see user name)
Make healthy lunches for work
Get back to an exercise routine
A normal sized breakfast
Less bread/potatoes/pasta etc

Would like to lose 1.5 stones ideally.

Noshowlomo Sun 09-Feb-20 20:18:45

I need to lose 6stone if that makes anyone feel better .. confused

stitchwitch85 Sun 09-Feb-20 20:18:51

Yep, I’m in. Ready to lose some baby weight and tone up post C-section, and I’m also fed up of eating crap all day, it makes me feel so unhealthy!

kittykatkitty Sun 09-Feb-20 20:20:04

I'm in!
I need to loose 4 stone!!!
I've bought small weights and a skipping rope.
Fitbit is charging and will weigh in tomorrow

Rowdythree Sun 09-Feb-20 20:21:08

I need to, I go on holiday next month and need to lose 7-10lbs. I just can't get my head in the right place and keep eating crap. I hope this thread will keep me in check. I'll weigh in tomorrow

Glenthebattleostrich Sun 09-Feb-20 20:22:10

Yes please!

I go on holiday in 12 weeks and have 2 stone to lose.

My plan is:

Low carb - 3 meals per day, no snacking.
Couch to 5k 3 times per week
Strength work 2 times per week
15000 steps per day
2.5 litres of water per day
Alcohol twice per week.

flowerycurtain Sun 09-Feb-20 20:23:30

Me me me please. I'm great Monday - Wednesday, feel amazing, crack on with life. Then on Thursday I get tired, the snacks come out and it all goes down hill.

See you in the morning

forevergreen Sun 09-Feb-20 20:27:06

@kittykatkitty you have just reminded me that I have a Fitbit. I'm going to go and dig it out, dust it off and charge it. Hopefully it will still work, it's been a while.

I'll join in here also please. I'm currently 16.5 stone, started in mid January & am down 10lbs. Some days are really good & then some days awful... like today when I've just had takeaway for dinner.
I'd like to get to about 12.5 stone & see if I can maintain at that. So 4 stone to go.

KavvLar Sun 09-Feb-20 20:29:23

Yes! Back on Cambridge diet tomorrow for two month boot camp to shift the majority. Got four stone to go.

Dontforgetyourbrolly Sun 09-Feb-20 20:37:40

I saw the title of this thread and I wanted to come on and say do it!
I started on new years day and in only 6 weeks I've seen a big difference.
I cut out booze completely, dry January then just carried it on. Banned crisps and committed to doing 5 mins work out every day ( Fit in 5 on sky and YouTube)
As the weeks have gone on I've cut out snacks and done a little but of gentle jogging.
Taking a slow and non drastic approach has really worked for me and I intend to keep it up but relax the alcohol ban on my holiday next week.
Good luck every body x

Itsnotalwaysfair Sun 09-Feb-20 20:39:35

Hi. I'd like to join please. I'm 78kg but would like to be 70kg eventually which would be more suited to my height. Mostly I'd like to feel better. Today I did a 40 minute brisk walk and felt better whilst doing it and afterwards.
