This is a continuation of the half a stone a month thread that has been running successfully for a few months now. Everyone is welcome, no matter what your approach. We are all aiming to lose 7lbs / 3.18kg a month.

I’m checking in with my starting weigh this month of 13st 7.5lbs – which is up on my end of September weight following a weekend away and several good meals out. I’m getting back on the strict MFP bandwagon and recording absolutely everything I eat this month.

Hi there waves

Checking in for another month, I weighed 84.8kg this morning, quite how I put on 0.8kg in 24 hours I don't know but there you go.

Aiming for half a stone this month, managed it back in June and July just need to try as hard as I did then 😂

I am in I am at 68.5kg, I hoping to get to 62kg eventually.

I am following in. No S plan, no seconds, snacks or sweets (meaning pudding) except sometimes on Saturday and Sundays.

May I join in? I am 10st 9lbs and would like to reach 9stone 13lbs if I can. I am only 5ft 2inches so my BMI puts me in the overweight category.
I have been following this thread for the last week and just joined MyFitnessPal which seems very good for keeping track of things.
Not expecting to reach my goal by the end of October btw.

It's getting harder to shift that 7lb so I'm going to try extra hard this month.

If I manage this way until Christmas that will be 2 1/2 stone.

I’m checking in at 150.4lb. So September was quite slow weight loss wise, but I was still happy with it - I lost 3lb overall, the first 2 weeks of September I was on holiday and let loose a little and didn’t gain but didn’t lose during that time, so I’ve lost the 3lb in the latter half of September, and I’m happy with that rate of loss Smile

Feeling really good to be at 150! Haven’t been this weight for a while, another 7lb and I would be so close to goal (and a weight I haven’t been in years).

May I join you? Weighed in at 63 kg on Sunday which is heavier than I have been for a while (am short!). Have lost my Fitbit so am really struggling to keep the motivation to move around. Are you all doing different diets, or is there a popular one here?

@Tanaqui there’s a real mix of diets on here, some people doing No S, or WW, or Slimming World, or Blood sugar diet, or low carb high fat (LCHF), or calorie counting, or just moderation. Those are the ones I remember! Some people are also doing intermittent fasting (5:2 or 16:8, the latter seems more popular).

Personally I’m doing LCHF, which works really well for me for weight but also for wellbeing/feeling good.

I'm starting off October on 74kg and have had two good days so far. 2 days under 1500 cals but no exercise just yet.

Going out on Friday so want to save a few extra calories for then. Hopefully end October on 71kg, with an end goal of about 64-65 kg in March time.

I have had a couple of good days and things seem to be going in the right direction weight-wise. I have done two bootcamp sessions this week and have another two scheduled on Friday and Saturday.

Glad to see everyone positive about the new month!

May I join you please? I was actually on one of the earlier threads and lost a few lbs.

I’m now 11 and a half stone and would dearly like to get into the 10 stone something range, but I eat like a fecking Labrador just now! I blame breastfeeding for all. It’s definitely not greed, oh no Blush.

Anywho, starting in earnest tomorrow. I’m planning to eat a bit less overall and cutting out refined sugar.

Weighing in at 9st 10lb. 1lb heavier than last week and tbh surprised it's only 1lb... Blush

Fairly good first week for me, 3.5lbs lost as of this morning, which is most of the weight I re-gained during my weekend away last week.. Slightly up on my weight yesterday morning as I was out for dinner & cocktails last night, but not too bad overall.

I am at 67.9 kg today, which is 0.7kg down.
Really surprised as I have been craving cake, biscuits and ice cream this week. And occasionally cracking. Although I bought ice cream and haven’t had any of it.

I am off out this afternoon for afternoon tea and cocktails this afternoon so not sure what next week will hold

Love to join. Started the month at 11 stone exactly and at that awkward stage where clothes are too tight - either do something quickly or go up a size (no!)

Good start to week but slip up yesterday.

Hi folks,
Weighed in at 10st 8lbs this morning.
A pound a week is a good weight loss for me.
Not as active as I used to be but going to Pilates is helping I think.
Hope you all had a good/reasonable week.

May I join?

Starting weight earlier this year of 12st 1. Now at 10st 4. Goal weight 9st 9, which is what I managed to maintain for years just got lazy three years ago. It's time!

I calorie count and run. Mostly eat lowish carb. Seems to be working. I'm hoping to be under 10 stone by 10 November and at target weight by Christmas.

To keep me on track exercise-wise, I have a half marathon on 15 December, plus three races over Christmas/NY.

Thanks, I feel like I'm finally making real progress. My mfp is showing the loss too (the big initial drop was due to giving birth!)
