This is a continuation of the half a stone a month thread that has been running successfully for a few months now. Everyone is welcome, no matter what your approach. We are all aiming to lose 7lbs / 3.18kg a month.

I’m checking in with my starting weigh this month of 13st 7.5lbs – which is up on my end of September weight following a weekend away and several good meals out. I’m getting back on the strict MFP bandwagon and recording absolutely everything I eat this month.

Have only lost 1lb so far (this month), trendweight says I’m losing 0.9lb per week overall and the progress on the scale has definitely slowed. I’m much closer to my goal (I’ve lost over 20lb since we started these threads, which is great) so of course my body needs less and less, so unless I cut some more my rate of loss will be slower.

I am going to look at my food and consider what else I might need to change, but my eating habits and relationship with food is so many miles better than it ever has been so I’m not going to jeopardise that. So if it means a slower journey then so be it Smile however I think I can make some more progress with some of my food choices, lunches especially lately have been hurried or bought out so I know I can improve my planning there.

Actually very successful. Shorts and trousers all fitted and I even fit really well into a size 10 dress that I've never worn as it was too tight!

I'm amazed at how straightforward it has been and I have not suffered one jot, or been hungry. Simply eating breakfast between 11 and 12, soup for lunch and a normal dinner before 7 if I can. Cut down on drinking and snacking but almost half a stone gone with no heartache.

If I can do another 4 or 5 lbs in the next few weeks that will be me done (apart from maintaining).

Managed to lose another 1lb this week.
My Fitness Pal certainly helps to motivate me.

I will have to tighten up but still losing, slowly. My personal stretch goal was to lose all of the weight I wanted to lose by the end of the year. Well the end of the year is in 11 weeks! It’s definitely doable (goal is 9lb away, although I’d like to go a couple of pounds further to account for natural fluctuations). I just really want to achieve it Blush

I'm down another 3.5lbs this week, which I am somewhat surprised about as chocolate biscuits were my friend this week. That makes 7lbs off in total since the start of the month and marks an overall 2st weightloss since I started in March. It has been somewhat up and down over that time, but hopefully because the loss is relatively slow, hopefully it is sustainable.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Well done everyone! I've been crap this month as I've had 2 horrible bouts of illness but I'm joining the low carb boot camp today so getting back on track. Luckily I've only put on 1lb even though I've been living off chocolate digestives Shock

Finally making some greater progress Smile

Having been on a much slower weight decline (but still pleased it was a decline!), I’ve weighed this morning and I’m 3lb down in just over 2 weeks so that’s good Smile lowest weight I’ve been since 2010...

Lost another 1lb this week, now 9st 8lb so half a stone in total. Would like to lose another 4 ideally but will take a few weeks as I'm off on hols next Saturday then have a girly weekend planned when I get back!

I’ve managed to lost a bit more, so I’m 5.4lb down this month so far which I’m feeling really great about. In 5lb I’m at my original goal Shock and in 10lb I’m at my stretch goal.

It’s weird how quickly and easily that seems to have gone, after all these years! The thread has helped me keep some focus and accountability Smile

Phew! I was dreading the scales, I've been terrible this month, had 2 vomiting bugs which scuppered my low carb because I just couldn't stomach the fat. However I still seem to have lost 5.4lb so I'm really happy about that.

I always seem to lose with .4lb of something!

Haven’t weighed myself yet this morning for final weigh in by expect to be similar, we had a mini break so I ate a bit more than usual (although not terribly loads, but had some carbs which have left me bloated!) so not expecting more losses.

I have put a little back on in the last week - but am still 4lbs down from my weight at the start of October, so happy with that.

Back from a week's holiday and depressingly back where I started at 10st 1  Thank you all inclusive and no willpower.

Girls weekend away next week so that won't help but back on it this week and full of good resolutions to actually use my gym membership!

Is there a November thread yet? I really didn't get started for October but have now agreed a weight loss challenge with the husband for November so really need to get on it!
