4 stones losers - anyone with me?

I'm 5'8" (well a quarter short - 5'7 3/4) and currently 192 pounds. Two years ago, I was 167. I feel so fat.

Anyone with me? I hope to be at least 2 stones less by July (my birthday).

I am aiming to lose at least 5.5 stone this year. I have managed 2 stone 10 so far this year but still a long way to go! Been starving these last few days as have a couple of very bad days coming up so trying to limit the damage beforehand!!

I'm doing Jane Plan. They deliver your food so I can't be tempted to eat anything else! My cupboards are bare apart from their stuff!

Yes! I am 5'9 and weigh 14 st 4. I've lost 6llbs since I restarted at the beginning of March. I am logging everything on MFP. I am 40 this year and I want to be 10st 7 which was my happy weight pre 3 children. I'd love to get there by birthday in November. Find it tough with small children, tiredness and away for work a lot which means eating out and drinking a wee bit too much!

That's brilliant, yes I know what it's like being away from home! I travel a lot and end up eating and drinking in hotels far too much. I've had a bad week with Cheltenham but I figured I'm doing this for a year minimum so there are going to be good and bad weeks. I've just tried to factor them in and not get put off by the fluctuations in weight.

Yes - I agree re not getting hung up on fluctuations in weight. I am trying to just weigh myself on a sat morning and not worry if I have an event or something which means I want to eat and drink what I like. It's the long term change which is important and a rigid diet will not help me in the long term.

Yep. I'm in. Lost 8lbs over past 3 weeks so 3 stones to go - ideally 3.5. I'm 5'5". Doing slim fast and no alcohol which is my downfall. Moving more also!

Yay, great there's more of us! 13 st 7 this morning, but hoping to get down to 12 by end of May. I think that should be doable.

AteRiri, weekends are hard aren't they! What have you eaten today? I've had a very low calorie day as was out last night for a long planned and much needed Chinese meal with friends. Ate and drank far too much but will be good all next week. The trick is to not let it get you down but keep plodding slowly on.

I had a omelette and bacon for breakfast, beef mince spaghetti sauce for lunch, and a peach for dinner.

I'm going to eat really clean this week, crossing fingers! Had 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon for breakfast. Lunch and dinner will be chicken + veg, fish + veg.

My weekend was terrible - takeaway, dinner out with friend and much wine. However if this is to be sustainable for me I cannot worry about weekends. Today I have had

B: 2 weetabix with semi milk

L: leek and carrot soup and 2 mini hot cross buns with our pack

D: will be cottage Pie with veg

Snacked on a carrot (rock n roll).

All logged on MFP.

We'll be en very good today despite a business working lunch. Had porridge for breakfast, two bits of chicken on stick things from M&S and leek and potato soup, then two boiled eggs for tea. Hopefully will lose the weight I put on after my disastrous Saturday!

Can I join?...currently 13st7 at 5'3 and spring has now creeped up. Summer is around the corner and I'm still a size 16. I avoid nights out because I can't bare to go and buy a nice size 16 dress when I used to fit into 12s. Last year's holiday I was miserable.
I am now logging everything on myfitnesspal.
I walk seven miles a day as a postie so I'm hoping thats an advantage to me combined with healthy eating.
Denman I'm so jealous you were at Cheltenham. Massive racing fan!

Hi Lemondrop😀, nice to have another on board...you will soon be back in your nice summer clothing.

Cheltenham was mega! I try and go most years and even if I'm not there will take the afternoon off work so I can watch it on the tv. Have you ever been?

My name is glitterkitten and I am a carbaholic. I am also going to be bridesmaid at a wedding next year where the bride and other bridesmaids are all skinnymalinky long legs!

I reckon I could lose 5 stone comfortably to be in a healthy BMI.
Would be great to get a bit of support with some likeminded people!
What eating plans are you all using?

Have just started lchf again today. Lost 6.5st in 2014 on the low carb bootcamp

Yay, more of us!! Welcome to everyone!

And readyforno2 - we have the same goal! I have never been a 140 though, but I would love to see how I'd look at 140. I'm just a bit taller than you ( by 3/4 of an inch).

Glitter - I'm doing low carb. Basically my diet is lowcarb with Timtams. So now I'm trying to do it seriously. I used to be 167 pounds two years ago and now I really feel so porky at 191. (Lost a pound)

lemondrop - I'm a size 16 too. I used to love dressing up, now not so much. I'm always in hoodies and jackets - and it's summer where I am! (Well autumn now)

Hotty - welcome!!!

Totty and Deman - you're both doing well! Let's focus one day at a time - we can do this! (Or maybe one M-F at a time :))

Hi all :)

May I join? I'm 5ft6 and 200lbs. Looking to get down to somewhere in the region of 145lbs and see how I feel then. My personal challenges are extremely poor health (started prior to weight gain) and the fact that I tend to become a bit obsessed which is why SW, WW, calorie counting and the like are not for me. This time, I'm just going to make sensible choices.

Never been denman. I'm in Scotland so would need to book a few days off work and find mid week childcare. Always watch on tv though, with an alcoholic beverage, as if I was there 😁 although I should give that up now.
Feeling positive this time around. Really enjoying myfitnesspal, I could pile my plate with healthy but carby food and not understand why I'm not losing weight, but myfitnesspal helps me portion control.
Don't have an aim for a particular time, but I don't want to be buying size 16 summer clothes. WoUld love to be 10st target weight. 9.7 is probably a healthy weight for me though, but seems so far away.
