Which ones do you take and why? Currently I just have B12 spray but not sure if some powdered supplements or multivits would improve my skin/hair...

I bought Deva Vegan Multivitamins/Mineral supplements for my 16 year old DD when she decided to become vegan 2yrs ago (mainly in order to placate my over-anxious DM). It contains vegan sourced D3/B12/Iron etc. and is a really good supplement, but is rather pricey as I have to order from the US (I'm in Aust). Myself & DP are vegetarian (30+ yrs) & I don't take anything specifically other than magnesium & vit. D. I figure most of my dietary problems are to do with over consumption rather than deficiency!

I am interested in this, have just gone onto plant based diet (so about 95% vegan). I already have a diagnosed severe vitamin d deficiency so am taking those as prescribed. I have been taking a vit b12 supplement also, as I am aware that this can be deficient on a majority vegan diet. Should I be taking anything else? I already suffer from some minor hairloss issues (reduced ponytail volume, hair coming out when brushed etc) so would like to improve on this issue too.

I have a nutribullet smoothie most mornings, so anything that could be added to this would also be good.

Faux Since taking an essential oil (evening primrose oil) I have felt able to deal with stress and it has improved my hair thickness and skin texture.

Just couple of drops morning and evening. I also add ground linseeds to my morning smoothie Flump I read in a book on nutrition that we shouldn't have more than 3 ingredients in our meals (including smoothies) so our bodies are not confused!

Flump, is your iron low? Also, if you have vit D problems, it'd be good to be outside with exposed bare skin everyday - much much much more effective than taking supplements. Especially if it's d3 as it doesn't get absorbed that well.

I take a multivitamin from Vegetology (but only every other day). I also take algae Omega 3 - it's very rich in dha and epa, which cannot be found in plants at all and the body is miserably pathetic at converting plant ala into those.
