Shibumi dressing gown anyone?

I've been lusting after these for ages but I can't find details of length. I'm 5ft1 so I guess they would be too long? Anyone lucky enough to own one who could tell me please?
I did buy a beautiful gown from Toast but it was just ridiculously huge and made me look like a little girl dressing up in her mum's things

Their ankle length coat is 145cm , I think the dressing gowns are going to be a similar length. I find it really annoying when companies don't have the information like this on line.
They are beautiful though

I'm nearly six feet and it's just right on me

Could take it up tho?

I'm 5' 9" and it is a great length for me.

I have been eyeing these sumptuous dressing gowns for months now - can anyone confirm or deny whether they are worth the ££££?

I don't have a dressing gown, but I have a cashmere/silk coat from them and it is absolutely amazing.

I've had mine for around 4 years. I like it but don't wear it that often. It's lightweight so not warm enough for winter though I feel the cold.

I prefer my Verry Kerry dressing gown for the warmer months and use a cashmere one in winter.

Oh, that's a shame - I was hoping they'd be that magical kind of fine cashmere that manages to be superlight but also superwarm at the same time. The colours and patterns are gorgeous.

I sent the first one back as I found it scratchy. I now have the "silkier" fabric which is fine but not as warm.

I have one!
I’m 5”6 and it’s mid calf length on me.
I find it warmer than it looks- much warmer than the 100 Stars ones.
They are beautiful and lovely for flouncing around the house in!

Well I have just been smitten. Is the reverse very silky feeling or warmer to touch? Very difficult to tell what they feel like from pictures.

No both sides are the same.

Grellbunt · 23/09/2021 08:54

There are two different types of fabric - one is silkier

This is mine, both sides definitely the same. Maybe there's a difference in styles?

I have absolutely no reason or occasion for one of their coats, but oh my days I really want to buy one Grin

I have my eye on one of their silk jackets to go with silk trousers for DD’s wedding next Summer. Just can’t decide which one !

That's why I have the dressing gown- can wear it every day!!! Don't have a reason for a coat every day ;-) Cost per wear is very low by now!!

@Grellbunt now I'm even more tempted! I'm thinking the same reason applies to kaftans Wink

Totally!

I would love another in a different colour. Can't decide. They're all so sumptuous....

What’s the sizing like? Does anyone know?

Sweet divine mother of god. This is possibly the singular most dangerous s&b thread I've ever opened

@Bluntness100 I bought that very one, off the back of a MN thread. I can confirm that it is utterly gorgeous Grin. I got a large, which is fine for a 14/16 but I reckon would be a bit small on an 18 - you wouldn't have that generous wrappage at the front that you need to feel really cosy and stop you flashing your tits at the postman

It's long - nearly floor length on me (5'7")
