Any ideas where I can find heavy, wool, above the knee skirts?

My most worn autumn/winter skirts are finally done. Both were heavy, wool mix and above the knee. To add insult to injury my favourite brown calf length boots are ok their last legs too.

Any ideas where should I go to look for replacements? Mine were lucky tk maxx random brands. I have a couple of knitted or wool look H&M ones too from years ago but I can't see anything like that now.

I was going to suggest Boden as they usually have something along those lines but I’ve had a quick scan and can’t see anything. Winser London have a couple of skirts that might work for you?

Arket have wool skirts, Boden have tweed minis and kilts that look above the knee depending on your height. Celtic and Co have kilts of different lengths.

Vintage ones from eBay or second hand markets. They did wool really well before central heating

Just checked M&S online - there are 4 mini skirts containing wool available including an all wool checked Autograph skirt for £49.50.

I’ve ordered the Boden green kilt as a result of this thread! Fortunately had 20% and £10 off!

Hobbs? I had a lovely 80s vintage one from Hobbs I got in a charity shop that I used to wear for horse shows (before the appearance of my mummy tummy!)
Sold it on eBay for a profit when I couldn’t do the zip up anymore lol

There are new M&S wool or wool blend skirts on eBay for good prices.

Uniqlo has a whole load of wool miniskirts in at the moment (and cord too, if you like corduroy)

Did someone mention Laura Ashley on another thread? They have a fair number although they are mostly wool blend rather than 100% wool www.lauraashley.com/en-gb/womenswear/skirts/fa300skir

I bought this in Sainsbury's supermarket the other day, it's also online on TU clothing. Thick, woolly, soft to the touch. So comfy. £19.

Any ideas where I can find heavy, wool, above the knee skirts?

So far I've put a Uniqlo order in and called into to Sainsbury's and bought a skirt like Oblomov19's Grin It's really heavy and lined and flattering, I love it. I also got another one that's a kind of stretchy brushed cotton with amazing pockets.

I'm still hovering over the purchase button in Cos, does anyone know what courier does their deliveries?

Around here Cos use Hermes, which is the cause of much gnashing of teeth for me after they lost three of our deliveries last year.

Yeah, Hermes for COS here in the north. Heard horror stories but never had any issue with them.
