Any ideas where I can find heavy, wool, above the knee skirts?

My most worn autumn/winter skirts are finally done. Both were heavy, wool mix and above the knee. To add insult to injury my favourite brown calf length boots are ok their last legs too.

Any ideas where should I go to look for replacements? Mine were lucky tk maxx random brands. I have a couple of knitted or wool look H&M ones too from years ago but I can't see anything like that now.

Ah good, Hermes is ok here, it's Yodel that's the one to avoid.

I really do like Celtics kilts but I suspect they're much harder to take up and do it well than the straight styles and I'm 5'2" on a good day...

Celtic and Co stuff seems designed for the tall as well so suspect they would be below the knee for a shorter person.

My favourite wool mini skirts are from M&S and Karen Millen.

I’ve got some Hobbs ones I wear for work. Great quality and traditional fabrics.

So far I've bought and returned skirts from Uniqlo, they were too A line in shape for me and not very flattering compared to the Sainsbury's one.

I haven't ordered the Cos one yet so that's next and I haven't managed to get into Hobbs yet.

I'm seriously considering buying fabric and making my own if I could find or draft the perfect pattern. I'm pretty competent at sewing and I've been looking and there's so many beautiful woollen fabrics available. It's just finding the time to do it that's tricky.
