Mine is for body:
St Tropez in shower tanning lotion.
Fuck me, it’s incredible!! Although I can get a decent natural tan on the rest of my body, my legs never tan and I’ve never found anything fake tan wise which looks good until now. I only bought the St Tropez because I had vouchers for TKMaxx and saw it in there for about half the normal price, not thinking it would work (with most fake tans I buy, they end up at the back of the cupboard as I’m too lazy to spend ages on application, and I didn’t have high hopes on this, with it only being 3 min to leave it on for.
I bought the light one, and after googling reviews, everyone says to def leave it longer than it says on the tube, so I left it around 6 min, and there was a definite difference.
It’s not a dark tan at all, it just takes the edge of having pasty white legs.
So impressed that I then ordered the medium shade from Amazon, and WOW!
I went out last night after applying this the night before, and had the confidence to wear a short skirt. A friend said I looked like I had model’s legs!
It looks so natural and like a real proper tan, no streaks at all. Total miracle stuff!

The other things I’ve discovered recently for my very spotty and congested skin: Niacimide by The Ordinary, plus Sudocreme - really takes down the redness, and heals spots faster.

Alpha H Liquid Gold

It's the only thing that smoothens my otherwise bumpy skin. I've seen conflicting reports on it though because one of its ingredients is denat alcohol which ordinarily isn't great. For now though, it works.

Mac Ruby Woo lipstick. It's made me a massive convert to red lipstick, having always been scared of it previously.

I've tried about a million face powders and they aĺl make me look like I've chucked a bag of flour on my face, boots cheap natural collection is the one that doesn't at about £2.50

Sweet almond oil for my nails. Crossbody bags, so much more practical.

St Tropez facial tanning water. A few sprays, no rubbing in, and I wake up with a lovely glow and it doesn't settle in your pores.

Urban decay 24-7 eyeliner in demolition. I have been searching for the perfect eyeliner for years and bought this on a whim at the duty free.

It's perfect. Doesn't drag but isn't too soft so I can do a fine line or go more dramatic. I absolutely love it Smile. And it stays put.

Facetheory serums. Didn't get on with TO ones but these have transformed my skin.

And Popsy dresses. I've always hated dresses until I discovered them.

Such a cliche but the Babyliss Big Hair. Other buys since I joined the board include The Ordinary skincare (though I'm not sure I've got my perfect routine yet) and Essie nail polish in Ballet Slippers is a look I coveted for years but could never find or figure out what it was - until I came here!

I feel like those things are the basics of the S & B board!

Also I think I was led here by my search for a good foundation and I now love the Maybelline Urban foundation that is the It CC cream dupe along with the NYX dewy finishing spray.

I've had a bit of an overhaul this summer! Next on my list is a perfect eyeliner for tightlining, a Lumea and the lash and brow enhancing serum to end my love affair with eyelash extensions and thicken my brows. With those and perfecting my skincare routine, I feel like I will have all my beauty regime in order (brows are a great shape now and require very little maintenance, it's taken years of hd brow waxes and some self-taught preening to get them there, I no longer need the salon) and I always wear (DIY) lash extensions.

I’m with you on the St Tropez. I’m super pasty and it just takes the edge off. I don’t look tanned (I look weird with most fake tan) but I can wear lovely pale or white summer dresses without looking like an uncooked sausage. Amazing.

Maybelline Superstay 7 day gel nail varnish.

I am rubbish with nail varnish but this has stayed on, with only a few tiny chips for 6 days now. I am really impressed. I only wish they did more colours.

@taybert it’s incredible isn’t it? Seems to sort of blur imperfections too and the smell isn’t as strong as other fake tan.

@thethoughtfox
Might have to try the facial tanning water next!

Clothing for me rather than beauty products. I got the most amazing vegan leather scarf from Nanushka. It looks FABULOUS!! And looks and feels like genuine leather despite being vegan (plastic!) I can't wait for autumn so I can wear it. I was so impressed that I bought two Nanushka vegan leather dresses....and they both look fabulous too. I'm a convert. Grin

My Mulberry Bayswater. I bought it pretty cheaply about 10th hand and it’s not in completely pristine condition but it is the first time I have had a nice, presentable handbag that fits my laptop and my make up bag comfortably! Looks so much nicer than a briefcase. Would love a brand shiny new one in a lovely colour. Maybe when I get a pay rise next!
