Watching the movie 'table 19' and Anna Kendricks red cardigan spoke to me..I don't usually do red but the next day I went out and got one from Debenhams and it's a refreshing change from my normal look which has got some items of clothing I have had for over ten years..(or longer Blush)

What movie stars outfits have you fallen in love with? Feel free to post pics!

Cher in dungarees in the Witches of Eastwick. Tried to recreate it and looked like Rab C Nesbitt.

Everything worn in Clueless by everyone! But especially Cher.

Grin I remember thinking Cher's wardrobe organiser was so futuristic but now we have apps that do that (that I downloaded but don't use )

I don't have enough clothes to forget what I own (or what fits Blush ) and I tend to buy whole outfits or nearly always match things in the same way, but I did also love the wardrobe organiser.

I love the Calvin Klein dress she wears that her dad complains about.

I wanted all of the outfits that Emilia Clarke’s character wore in me before you. So quirky and fun.

I have loads but, off the top of my head:

Diane Keaton in Annie Hall.
Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally. It's been interesting watching the clothes go out of date and then start to look good again - apart from the party/wedding frocks which still look a bit Dynasty on Steroids.
Grace Kelly in Rear Window - a character who likes clothes but can still think for herself!
Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves in The Matrix.
Everything worn by Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant.

Julie Delpy in Before Sunset. Really I just long to be willowy and French, but her top and jacket have been objects of desire for me for years.

Tilda Swinton’s Dior designed wardrobe in A Bigger Splash has been a massive inspiration. Was so excited to see Finery did a similar blue dress that I promptly snapped up and it inspired me to wear yellow eye shadow which up to that point I assumed was the preserve of the very young.

It’s dated now, but the outfit and hair worn by Julia Roberts for the Dinner Party scene in Notting Hill. And her hairstyle in that scene!

Mila Kunis in Friends With Benefits. She just looked all well put together yet simple. At the time I was overweight and out of shape wearing baggy clothes and I marvelled at how neat she looked. Also envied her simple yet shiny swingy ponytail. Loved that.

I was inspired to lose weight, revitalised my wardrobe and I have a shiny swingy ponytail. I didn't want to look like her but I knew I could look far better as me than I did. So it was definitely an inspiration.

Meryl Streep in Kramer vs Kramer swishing around Central Park in trench coats and boots

Also think everything Keira Knightley wore in Begin Again was lovely - simple summer dresses

Sally Hawkins in the Paddington films. I wish I could pull off those quirky colour combos. Oh and if I could have the house too that would be perfect!

I was (still am) completely inspired by Jessica Jones' light wash jeans, biker boots, amazing leather jacket and grey scarf.

Also everything Anna Kendrick wears in Pitch Perfect 1 and 2. Check shirts, skinny jeans, leather jackets, blazers, waistcoats in dark and jewel tones.

Keira Knightley's green dress in Atonement.
All Anne Hathaway's outfits in the montage of her running through NY in The Devil Wears Prada.

Totally costume, but I loved Cate Blanchett in Carol and Julianne Moore in A Single Man. Colin Firth was impeccable in the latter too.

Cliche but love it regardless, Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Gwyneth Paltrow, despite looking like misery incarnate throughout, in The Royal Tenenbaums.

It was so wrong that it became right even then, Alicia Silverstone in Clueless.

Faye Dunnaway in Bonnie & Clyde.

Everything Cate Blanchett wore in Notes On A Scandal.

Everything Zooey Deschanel wore in 500 Days of Summer.

I was going to say Faye Dunaway in bonnie and Clyde too. It was a bit of a shock when I saw what the real Bonnie looked like.

Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour

Bette Davis in Now, Voyager, not so much for her clothes but for the way she socks it to her awful mother after her transformation.

Rita Hayworth looking sexy as hell in all her films.

Liz Taylor being all curvy and sultry in her silk slip in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Oh and not my style at all but I love Patricia Arquette's look in True Romance. Trashy as hell but it really works for her.
