Tech2 has kindly put together an extended set of emoticons (smileys) that you can use in your messages. The instructions on how to put them in are next to the "add a message" box on each mumsnet thread.

The old ones do still work, and will for a while. I thought cutting them off immediately might provoke howls of protest....
