Tech2 has kindly put together an extended set of emoticons (smileys) that you can use in your messages. The instructions on how to put them in are next to the "add a message" box on each mumsnet thread.

Cheers,
Tech

Alright already ! So you prefer the old winkie. Anyone want to keep the new one or should we just ditch it?

And the embarrassed face - could that be pink? That one to me looks like someone whos het up.

Always someting to moan about

SoupDragon · 21/06/2004 09:18

You're biased, spacemonkey!

I prefer the old one. Although the new one might look better without the lolling tongue.

SofiaAmes · 21/06/2004 22:33

Do you ladies not have anything better to do with your time than debate winkies. I have major lists of TO DO at my house if you've got spare time!

Chinchilla · 22/06/2004 19:34

There I was, @FlissMumsnet, thinking I was being terribly clever by using the Tardis (Tardis) to indicate time travel! (And the Christmas hat for Christmas Past and Future!!)

Hmm
LouMumsnet · 10/11/2018 22:10

Ooh, there was no glitterball emoticon in 2004 - because MNHQ hadn't invented it yet. So this one's for all the Strictly fans (me included).....
