Hey all, just got my bfp which puts me on course for a Christmas baby! According to my calendar it will be around 27th Dec but we'll get a better idea once we get the 12 week scan. I've already got a handsome 2 year old boy. ♥️Anyone else due à Christmas baby or fancy some pregnancy chat?

Awww that's a while, bet you were so relieved! We were trying for half a year, which was still stressful because with our first we got pregnant straight away so we were stupidly expecting it to be the same this time 🤣 what day did you get your bfp? I got mine early at 10dpo! Am now 13dpo and just got my confirmation on the CB digital test.

Aww so is it your second? I got it Tuesday when I was 3 days late with a clear blue and digital :)

👋
The online due date calculators estimate my due date to be 21/22 December.

It still feels a little surreal, both being pregnant and have a Christmas baby. We've been trying for about a year and been joking that just our luck it'll be on Christmas Eve/Day and here we are! 😅

I'm due 25th Dec! Have a 6 month old DD too. Anxious at the thought of a 14 month old and a newborn!

@ArjaD yeah our original plan was to have a second when our first was starting school but it's not quite worked out that way 😂! Very shocked initially but were over the moon now!

@Hannah9176 i can imagine the shock 😂 we were the same but then we are 36 and 38 so didn't want to wait that long in the end.

Hi everyone! So I’m new here! 2 days ago I got a BFP and I must say it was a bit of a shock (yes I’m completely blaming lockdown!). If my calculations are correct my due date is Boxing Day and it puts me at 3 weeks 5 days (very early days). I just wanted to say hi and join you all in this exciting/nervous time 😁 xx

I had a positive test yesterday, but I'm unsure of my due date because stupid me never tracks my period so I'm not entirely sure what date my last period started! But I'm guessing I'm around 4 weeks ish which would make me due around christmas week. I have a 21 month old dd as well. Weve o ly been trying for a matter of weeks! and just to add to the weirdness my sister also found out she is pregnant with her first yesterday and we are both due at the same time!

I’m due early December with my second, my first was due Boxing Day 2018 too! She was late and ended up arriving early January, this one I think I’m due about the 7th so even overdue I can’t quite hit Christmas.

I do remember being heavily pregnant with my first and going into a shop with an also heavily pregnant NCT friend, the lady on the till asked when we were due and when we told her she genuinely rolled her eyes and told us to prepare ourselves for our children to hate us forever for giving them such a rubbish birthday! I was so cross. December babies are lovely ❤️

Yay! ☺️

It’s been a while since I’ve done this! I have 11yr old twins they were my first borns so to say I’m a little rust in an understatement! X

Hi guys, I got my BFP over a week ago. I have very slap dash periods so I think I am due christmas week. First baby super lucky as first month trying but had been tracking my ovulation for a year. Just had my booking appointment through the post so it's all starting to feel very real now. Having aches and pains and such painful boobs!! So nice to meet you all.

Good God what a lovely mix of stories! Aw it doesn't matter when they are born, wee souls ❤️❤️
Is anyone experiencing any symptoms yet? I started off with cramps but they have eased off and now I'm just dizzy.

I didn’t have many symptoms with my first but have been having much more nausea with this one!

Also could totally be the placebo effect but I find I feel much more sicky if I forgot to take the pregnancy vitamins. I usually take them in the evening, if I ever forget I always wake up feeling ropey! Could be a complete coincidence but have really noticed the pattern the last couple of weeks.

I have had tingling nipples, some cramping and headaches that have lasted the past couple of days. My sense of smell is so strong at the min too and seems I’m already having food evasions, not liking the smell of yoghurt today! X

I feel tired and a bit sick and I feel dizzy too! A bit crampy and pully haha! X

Report
sojo44 · 18/04/2020 13:47

I had really heavy full boobs and pointy nipples, and they're still going strong Blush
And then a bit of cramping (which I thought was AF).
Still in a bit of disbelief as I have PCOS and irregular cycles and was supposed to be referred to a fertility clinic before CV hit.
