Did anyone get their BFP recently? I got mine last night so I think I'm 4 weeks 1 day today and still very much in shock, according to apps my due date would be October 30th.

I got mine yesterday! NHS calculator says 31st October.

How are you feeling?

@ablisha it still feels very surreal, felt so tired today, not sure if it's a symptom or it's that I didn't sleep as well last night as I was so excited.

how about you?

@1990shopefulftm I've been so tired too! Today's the first day my boobs have hurt as well.
Before that my symptoms were implantation bleeding last Sunday, an increased resting HR on my Fitbit and a cold!
I have a clear blue digital to do tomorrow for peace of mind

@ablisha it's wonderful seeing it in words on a digital. I thought I had a cold earlier in the week too, I didn't suspect anything though.

The dizziness and triedness have started for me ...

@Ktn35 fortunately, i m just tired and bloated rather than dizzy. I apparently have a few risk factors for morning sickness so i m now wondering when its going to kick in.

I had dreadful dreadful sickness pretty much all the way through my last pregnancy (worse in the first 20 weeks) that's made me really depressed but I have decided i'm not getting sick this time. I can't be that sick with a toddler around! It just not going to happen!

This is my first pregnancy so no idea what to expect! I have found reading these boards so helpful but they have also made me so worried about MC.

I got married in May so there's lots of talk of 'when are you going to have a baby' so trying to avoid all of that at the moment!

Can I join ? Got my BFP this morning...I'm about 5 weeks I think, due 23rd October ish.
Have been feeling so tired today, and have a strange headache which I'm putting down to the Pregnacare 🤮 Anybody else struggling with them?

Report
ablisha · 22/02/2020 22:23

@KitKatKit I've had headaches but I've felt they're more linked to tiredness!

I got my BFP with my first last Sunday & the estimate says I'm 5 weeks + 4 days so roughly October 21st.

Rang the midwife to book my 8 week appointment but not heard anything back yet. Will see if she gets back to me tomorrow as I imagine she's so busy.

I have had mild cramping on and off which is apparently normal but my boobs don't hurt at all. They're small though as I'm thin but I thought they'd be the first symptom as they kill me when I'm ovulating!

I'm also tired and have low energy.

I think until my first scan I won't fully believe I am pregnant lol x

@1990shopefulftm Yes, I'll give that a go instead, thank you.

@SophieJosie95 My DH is the same as you... he's not believing it until he sees a scan pic!

Hope Sunday is kind to everyone Smile

Morning ladies - hope it's okay that I've joined. Very new to this! Got my BFP Wednesday morning after some serious cramping Tuesday night. Have been doing tests every other day since then just to check it wasn't all in my head. I'm 32, first baby and we've been TTC since November last year. Feeling very overwhelmed and anxious but only symptoms have been cramping with no spotting, aching legs and really sore boobs.

According to some apps my due date is around 28th Oct (first wedding anniversary!) but I know I ovulated on the 8th Feb so I think it's more likely to be around the 31st Oct.

Sending positive vibes to everyone! Smile

Hi can I join :)? I got my BFP on Monday, due roughly the 28th October. So I'm 4 weeks 5 days.

Don't feel much different to be honest just achy back and a little tired. I seem to get dizzy if I don't each frequently but apart from that normal.

I'm so so excited, but definitely feel very anxious about MC because of looking at online chats 🤦🏻‍♀️ hope we all have happy healthy babies ladies xxx

Hey Ladies, can I join?

I'm 28, got my BFP on the 15th. According to the NHS calculator I'd be due around the 24th.

Not had to many symptoms just feeling tired alot but not sure if that's because I'm pregnant or because I've been really busy. It's been the OH 30th birthday this past week.

Who has everyone told so far?

@Frankincense88 yes but i m dyslexic and dyspraxic, there's no research or much info to go off as( i ve not spoken to many mums with it before)if i m going to get worse being pregnant but i do when i m tired so i've been slowing down so i hopefully don't injure myself.

@Danielle95lab

I watched my mum go through an MC before she had my sister at 39 so the thought is at the back of my mind but apart from the morning sickness i believe she had a good pregnancy with me when she was 24 and i m the same age now so that gives me hope.

If something happens it's not going to be our faults so i m just enjoying being pregnant and grateful that it happened in only 3 months for us.

We're trying to wait till 12 weeks to tell anyone but will see how it goes, it's my mum's birthday at the end of next month so tempted to tell her then as i ll see her in person but will see.

@Waggers91 I've only told my husband and my best friend who is also TTC as we track cycles etc together so there was literally no hiding it from her. She's also my only 'mum' friend so I don't really have anyone who understands to talk to about how I'm feeling.

We want to surprise our parents around Easter time when the 12 week scan is done and dusted, but I think my mum has already clocked as I had to leave the table at brunch yesterday because my cramps were so bad!

@Frankincense88 I'm away with friends for the weekend in a couple of weeks so i m worried they might notice but otherwise everyone lives far away so it's not so difficult to hide it.

@Frankincense88 I'm so bad I've told my mum, dad, sister and OHs mum and brothers. Going to tell my BF later on today she had her first in Dec.

That's where I'll stop for now, I know it's still really early and things could go wrong but those are the people I'd turn to for support anyway.

@1990shopefultm I'm also dyslexic, and have epilepsy. Makes things more interesting lol.

I haven't told anyone yet other than DH but plan to tell my personal trainer this week before my session otherwise I will definitely worry I'll be pushing myself too hard!

Hi, can I join you? I'm 5 weeks 6 days, due Oct 20th. It's my second, my daughter has just turned 2. I had some uncomfortable cramping a few days ago that freaked me out as I had nothing like that with my first, but fine again now and had a very strong line on a reassurance test this morning so think it was just 'normal' stretching. October seems a long time away though!

@Waggers91 yes it certainly does, I can tell my memory feels like it's been worse already, hopefully it doesn't get too much worse.
