Hi ladies I'm 26 weeks and 4 days pregnant with twins.

I'm struggling with eating as when I eat I feel like a can barely move. My stomach physically hurts. I just feel like I need rest. I don't get to rest or sit down much because I have a little 2 year old girl to run around after. My partners great when his at home but is currently working away for 3 months. I just feel drained and feel that I need a rest. Some morning I wake up and just want to get straight back into bed I have no energy! Is there anything I can do ? I don't have any family to support me so I'm literally on my own.

Does your dd qualify for a funded place at nursery? Or could she holds for a few hours to give you a break?

Hi racheldawn, I totally feel your pain. I'm currently 25weeks with mo/di twin girls and I have a 5 year old and 2 year old. Hubby doesn't work away but does work long hours and to be honest has to be pushed to help when he's at home. I'm at that stage too where I'm exhausted, I'm struggling to walk and I get out of breath easy. Tie all this in with a mishcheiveous 2 year old and a bored 5 year old and you get one fed up mummy and helpless mummy. I wish I could give you some tips to help but unfortunately I don't but just wanted you to know your not alone in feeling drained and helpless. Xx

I've got no advice but just wanted to say "hang in there"!

I'm 22 weeks with DCDA girls and have been very lucky with my energy levels up to this week and now the bump just feels so heavy and like I'm about to split in two!

I know what you mean about the food thing- I eat a little bit and then feel stuffed and some days this has led me to feel very weak and a bit wobbly.

I honestly don't know how you would do it all this whilst having little ones at home already so just a massive well done and hang in there- I hear it's all worth it!! Wink
