I loved so many different features of this breast pump. Firstly how it could get milk even when I didn't think I had much. I wouldn't have even tried with my manuel as I would think I was 'dry' and this would get off 30ml. Secondly no pumping by hand and being able to do both breasts at the same time. Thirdly it was quick. I didn't need to pump for more than 6/7 minutes at a time so this saved me alot of time and effort.

It was very comfortable whenever it started the massage part it tickles every time! Afterwards though never any soreness at all.

I would highly recommend this for others! It was absolutely superb. If you are thinking of purchasing a breast pump this is the one to get! The different settings are great depending on how full or 'empty' your breasts are. I never got to 5 setting in massage and I only used up to setting 4 in the express mode. However it was helpful having the different levels as different days I had different requirements for how much milk needed to be pumped. The higher settings were great when I was extra full. So I can imagine especially at the start of you've got engorged the higher express settings would work great. It definitely feels like it was made with the idea that women's bodies and breasts are unique and different with each feeding journey.

I 100% will be continuing to use this breast pump as it is proving invaluable with my son's weaning as he has dairy intolerance. It's ensuring he can easily have milk with his breakfast and in his food. It's also helping me to have a little freedom for travelling around again.

My only points that are very mild con is it doesn't have a carry case or anything to store the breast pump in. I think it would be practical as I don't want to store mine forever in the box it arrived in. Also for taking away with me or out and about a case would be invaluable in my eyes. Oh and the horn is a little tricky to quickly attach suction cup to but they are very minor points!!

1. Not noisy at all like other machines is fab as it can be quite off putting to have so much noise from a machine when trying to relax. The fact it’s a double pump saves time when you have many other things you need to be doing when you have a baby!

2. Easy to use once you got the hang of the different settings that worked best for you as an individual and was comfortable to use. I found I sometimes needed slightly higher massage setting for left side so was great I had that option as breast sides can differ.

3. I would recommend as it’s a great tool and mentioned in 2. It is great for your side being different and having the different settings. For the price though I would have liked a little carry bag with the pump.

4. I would continue using. I’ve struggled with other pumps and tended to hand express but this pumps settings are great and have really helped me gain confidence in using a pump again.

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?
Third time breastfeeding mum, but had never tried a double pump until now. Was really impressed with this pump. Really easy to use, managed to express large volumes of milk quickly and without fuss. Really wanted to try this pump as a mum expressing milk twice daily at work for my baby. It did not disappoint. Loved the ease of use after initial set up, the portability once charged and now noiseless it was. Couldn’t fault it for someone like me who needs to express regularly while out and about. It also fit in my handbag quite easily which was a bonus for a double pump.
2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
Very comfortable. As someone who is not naturally blessed in the breast area, I couldn’t fault it. I have tried other pumps with more rigid cups and have failed to get the right shape or suction to express properly. These cups were super soft and combined with the massage function it made the whole process easy and fuss free without any breast sensitivity.
3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?
Yes definitely. I would recommend that they take some time to set it up properly to start with. Give it a good test and play with the settings to find the ones most comfortable for them. Also remember that different settings may be better at different times of day/ night depending on the fullness of the breast.
4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?
Absolutely, I love this pump and plan to continue using it for as long as I need to.

Mumtoone39 Tue 06-Apr-21 16:01:50

I loved the fact this pump was cordless - so could be taken from room to room without need of a socket. It also charges quickly and the base is lovely and small. It is very quiet, so ideal for pumping at work. I also like the cushioning on the flange, I have found other more rigid pumps very uncomfortable.
I found it relatively comfortable, although had to tinker with the massage setting a bit as I initially found my nipples felt a bit sore.
I would recommend to others but say as with anything, you do have to tinker a bit to get the settings to suit.
I would definitely continue to use this breast pump for its portability alone.

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?

I like that it is a closed system, and that the parts are simple and go together easily. The pump was very effective at getting my milk, compared to other electric and manual pumps.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?

The pump was fairly comfortable, though not as comfortable as other pumps I have tried. The breast flanges felt quite hard, and the stimulation/milk extraction cycles were fairly limited limited compared to other prands of pump.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?

Yes, I would recommend the pump to others. It is an affordable double pump that is effective at collecting milk, and would be good for both building supply and for getting milk to feed via a bottle.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?

Yes, I’ll continue to use the pump to express milk to leave for my baby now I am back at work.

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump? I liked the modern design and the luxury look of the packaging. The simplicity and the fact that it's a closed system are huge bonuses.
2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
It is a very comfortable pump to use. It doesn't rub my nipples and you can tell it's been designed to 'cushion' the breast, which is perfect when your poor boobs go through so much with feeding in general.
3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?
I would recommend the pump, specifically for it's ease of use, portability and actually, it's quite sleek for a breast pump! It's very efficient and I definitely didn't need to use it for the full 30 minute cycle. I would recommend that they go for this double as time is so limited when you have a little one that something that makes pumping twice as quick is worth it's weight in gold. It's a way of looking after yourself.
4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?
I do plan on continuing to use the pump. Given it's size and efficiency it's going to be perfect for when I return to work and has definitely taken some worry away. Working on a ward, we don't always get long or regular breaks, so knowing I have a quick and efficient double pump is a huge relief.

Lucyabraham87 Wed 07-Apr-21 17:45:08

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?
I've only ever used manual pumps before so I loved the fact it was electric and didn't hurt my hands pumping for a start! It was also simple to put together and use, which was useful for my sleep deprived brain.
2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
Very comfortable, much more so than the manual one I've used previously. I like the fact it was quiet, quick and comfortable, perfect for when I'm out at work and need to express in a very short break.
3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?
Go for an electric pump straight away, they are much more comfortable to use than manual and this one is fantastic, I would highly recommend it. My only feedback would have been I'd have liked a case to transport and carry it in, but the pump itself is great.
4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?
Yes definitely, it's great for quickly expressing both breasts at home, with a baby who doesn't like to be put down for long, as well as when I'm out at work.

jemimafuddleduck Wed 07-Apr-21 18:43:34

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?

I liked that it was wireless and quieter than previous pumps I’ve used. I also liked the different settings and strengths of pumps.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?

It was ok - although it was a pain when using in double mode as your hands are completely taken up by using the pump. It would be great if it came with a bra to be able to pump hands free. As a result I only ever used it in single mode.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?

Yes, although I would advise them to get a pumping bra.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?

Yes, in single mode only though. Although to be honest I get just as much milk using my haakaa and that is much cheaper, less faff and silent,

SoloJazz Wed 07-Apr-21 21:04:59

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?
The connecting tubes had extra plastic parts on ends so they were not sliding off.
The pump was extremely quiet.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
Very comfortable. I loved flexible flanges.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?
Definitely. I'd recommend getting a pumping bra.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?
Yes.

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?
I liked that it was more comfortable than any other breast pump I’ve used. Plus the speed at which I was able to get a decent supply of expressed milk. One of my key issues with breastfeeding is how long I have to spend sat on the sofa doing it while my older children run riot in the house. This has allowed me to express quickly during the day and have longer, real feeds in the evening.
2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
Very. I have found pumps painful in the past, particularly with sore nipples. This hasn’t happened this time. I liked the express setting as well and found this very comfortable and efficient.
3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?
Definitely, being a double pump it was really quick. I have only needed about 15 minutes with it to get a bottle worth of milk so it’s good to use even if you’re short of time.
4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump? Yes, it’s probably extended my breastfeeding window as it’s so easy and quick to use.

YouBringLightInToADarkPlace Thu 08-Apr-21 08:55:09

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?
Wireless charging was an absolute game changer- not having to be plugged in made it a lot easier- especially as a Double pump there were 2 lots of tubes. I was impressed by the volume of milk it could get out and I really loved the digital display telling me how long I'd been pumping and what setting it was on.
2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
The suction cups and the bottles themselves were great- didn't hurt my boobs at all and were ergonomic to hold with two hands. That said, I needed to be able to hold both pumps and operate the digital unit but only had two hands! A way of connecting the two pumps would have been useful so they could be held as a single unit at times. In the end I cut small holes in a vest top that allowed me to connect the pumps through it and wear them (like a pumping bra) so that I could wear the pump and operate the box.
3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?
Yes would definitely recommend it, it got so much milk out! And was quiet and comfortable to use. I'd advise making sure you set aside a time to relax and pump- it's a brilliant machine but it needs quiet and comfort as it's a hefty bit of kit- this isn't an easy set up for a 5 minute speed-express.
4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?
Yes absolutely, my little one is 5 months and I'd like to express enough milk for him to have when I go back to work.

Firewall Thu 08-Apr-21 15:05:30

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?

I loved the fact it was wireless and was a double which I had never used before. It was easy to use and definitely managed to pump more milk than I’ve been able to in the past.
2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
It was very comfortable for a breast pump though if it was more compact it would be a lot better as in double mode it still feels a bit bulky.
3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them? Yes. It’s great for those that need to express.
4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump? Yes, though probably more occasionally than daily.

Covidwoes Thu 08-Apr-21 17:26:28

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?

I really like the fact you can charge it, so when you are using it, it is wireless. This meant I could pump
wherever I wanted without having to rely on a plug socket nearby.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?

I found it really comfortable and experienced no
discomfort at all. Even on the highest setting, I experienced no discomfort whatsoever.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?

I would recommend it, particularly if like me you have another child and don’t have much time on your hands! I found double pumping for just ten minutes a day was more than adequate to provide me with enough to give my husband a dreamfeed for our DD in the evening. On occasion I pump a bit more to create a freezer stash for when I’m eventually away from my daughter for an extended period of time.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?

Yes I do! I find it so easy to use and will continue to use it for as long as I am breastfeeding.

Moorelewis Fri 09-Apr-21 12:02:44

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?

I love that it is a closed unit, meaning no milk gets inside the components. This is so much more hygienic! Being able to charge and use wirelessly is amazing. It means the pump is portable and makes it easy to pump on car journeys or on the go!

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?

So comfortable, I found the shields a lot more comfortable than other pumps I've tried. Even on the higher settings, I managed to get a good flow without discomfort.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?

I'd definitely recommend this pump. I'd also recommend the double over a single any day! The amount of milk you get is incredible. I'd also suggest to try the lowest setting first, I was surprised how much milk I got without jumping straight to the most powerful suction.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?

Yes! It's an amazing addition to my breastfeeding journey.

Hardbackwriter Fri 09-Apr-21 16:00:00

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?

I thought it was all really well and thoughtfully designed - it all fits back together really well and easily after sterilising (not the case for some other pumps I've had). It was great that it's wireless and it is very quiet.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?

So, here's where I come to the problem, which I think was just bad luck not a design flaw - it didn't work for me. It barely stimulated a letdown at all, no matter how much I played with the settings; I thought at first it might be that my supply had dropped since I'd last tried to express but that wasn't the case when I checked by using my old pump. I tried on a few different occasions with this pump and (to my great disappointment) found the same thing every time. I think it's just the case that a pump will never work for absolutely every breast, and this one just didn't seem to 'fit' me correctly.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?

Difficult - as I said, I do think it might have been me not the pump and I thought it was well designed, easy to use, etc so I wouldn't put someone off buying it but I can't recommend it from my individual experience. I've also never used a double before and was surprised at how unwieldy it was, but I think that would be the case for any double, not just this one.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?

No, unfortunately.

TonkinLenkicks Sat 10-Apr-21 00:01:54

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?
I think it looked really sleek, I liked the design. I really liked that it was wireless and wasn’t difficult to use. I liked that it was a double pump as my previous one was only a single pump.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
I have had cracked nipples off and on since DD was born and they get irritated easily. This was really comfortable and my nipples weren’t sore unlike another brand I have used.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?

Yes I would. I’d advise them to use this pump as it meant my husband can get involved in feeding and give me a break. I’d recommend a double pump instead of a single one as I seemed to be able to get quite a bit from having them both.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?
Yes I do, it’s wonderful smile

Tomatobear Sun 11-Apr-21 15:13:18

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?
I love that it is wireless- brilliant idea! I also thought that the suction felt more 'natural' compared to other pumps I have used previously.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?
It's is comfortable. The cups are soft silicone which is nice. I would recommended using a pumping bra with it otherwise you don't have enough hands.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?
I would recommend it. It's very portable and comfortable to use. My only issue with it was trying to put it all back together. There are a lots of parts and I really struggled to get the horn back into the cup every time. I would recommend to a friend that they purchase a bra to go with it- it's brilliant being able to pump both breasts at once but as with all double pumps you run out of hands quickly.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?
Absolutely! I plan to use it when I return to university in September and it will hopefully extend the length of time I can breastfeed my son.

Thank you for letting me trial it!

Mariposa123 Sun 11-Apr-21 20:21:15

1) the fact it’s cordless meant I wasn’t stuck to the wall with a toddler to also run around after!
2) it was generally quite comfortable. Other pumps I’ve found the suction quite uncomfortable but this was fine.
3) if they were planning to express, yes. Previously I had used hand expressing which didn’t provide much milk so would suggest anyone who wants to feed this way invests in a powerful pump.
4) I’m currently pregnant so will use it once LO arrives so DH can share the feeding if necessary. Hopefully this one takes a bottle, unlike my first!

EmberRainbow Mon 12-Apr-21 06:54:56

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump?

I liked the wireless, fast charge, lightness of the unit and quietness.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use?

It was comfortable to use and had a good range of settings so could adapt to different pumping scenarios.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?

Yes, it’s a nice and easy unit. I’m not sure I’d give advice to anyone really as it’s so different for everyone, I’d be honest that I personally found it intuitive, quick and quiet to use although I think for the price a carry bag should be included and also it’s rather tricky to use as a double or even single pump unless you have both handsfree..

It would be amazing if it came with a stretchy bra top/Velcro on chest band (so different sizes could be accommodated) that the pumps could sit in and allow for handsfree single/double pumping. TT may opt to do similar as an extra but I think that would price many users away from it as the unit itself is pricy, so to include it would stand out in the market perhaps.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump?

Yes I probably will, thank you for the opportunity to test it

MySafeSpace Mon 12-Apr-21 09:58:00

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump? I loved that it was wireless, made things so much easier when you have so little time to organise time anyway. Had plenty of charge for a decent pump session.
2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use? It’s one of the most comfortable pumps I’ve used, doesn’t pinch or snag the skin at all.
3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them? Yes I would, if you find you’re short of time and need something very convenient this is the one for you. It’s quieter than most so can be very discreet.
4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump? Yes most definitely

peepholepringle Mon 12-Apr-21 10:01:44

I’ll start by saying I went into this product test thinking that I wouldn’t like it. I’ve tried so many different pumps and really struggled to get any kind of volume, sometimes not even a letdown, so had wondered if it was just me. When I saw the post asking for product testers for this pump I was keen to give it a go as I’d not tried a double before.

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump? - I liked that the whole unit was wireless. It didn’t feel restrictive in any way. I love how quiet it is, especially as it actually works really well.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use? - I found it quite comfortable. The unit itself is comfortable, soft on the skin and light to hold but I found that after a few minutes having to use both hands for the bottles became a bit of a nuisance. Which leads onto some advice in the next question.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them? - I would definitely recommend. I’ve had issues with pumping since DD was born and have never been able to express enough for her to take a feed from my husband which has meant very little chance of time to myself. I don’t know if it was just the fact that this was a double and was stimulating both breasts at the same time but I have found that it’s worked so well that I now have a freezer stash and am already planning a child free afternoon and evening soon!
One piece of advice I would give is to buy a pumping bra so you can get on with something else whilst pumping. The wireless unit feels
almost wasted if you’re stuck holding onto the bottles for the duration.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump? - Definitely! I feel so fortunate to have found something that actually allows me to express productively. Thanks for the opportunity Mumsnet and Tommee Tippee!

GalaxyGirl24 Mon 12-Apr-21 12:54:54

1. What did you particularly like about Tommee Tippee’s Made for Me Double Electric Breast Pump? I liked that it was lightweight, which makes it portable and sleek. It was stylish looking also.

2. How comfortable was the Double Electric breast pump to use? It was very comfortable to use, and the breast shields (made of a soft silicone) were comfortable too.

3. Would you recommend the Double Electric breast pump to others? What advice would you give them?
Yes I would, in terms of advice for using it I would say in general to plan when you are using it so you can get as much pumping from it for the day before having to disinfect and clean again. Make sure you clean it as instructed, so you don’t damage any parts. Also practice with it a few times to feel Confident with the wires etc.

4. Do you plan on continuing to use the Double Electric breast pump? Yes and I look forward to using it for my next child. I had another leading brand name pump for the first 6 months of my baby’s life and I don’t feel I got the maximum amount of milk I could have due to lesser suction.

Pinkflipflop85 Mon 12-Apr-21 19:23:12

1. I liked the size of this pump. The unit was nice and compact and I loved the digital display. The pump was really comfortable to use and didn't make my nipples sore like others have in the past.

2. The pump was really comfortable to use and wasn't too noisy - an important feature when expressing at work!

3. Yes definitely. The pump is compact, sleek and really user friendly. I particularly love the fact that you can charge it so you don't have to worry about batteries or being near a plug socket! I would recommend playing around with the settings and finding what is comfortable. Also keep in mind that expressing is a skill to learn so it may not be successful at the first try - so stick with it.

4. Absolutely. It has now become my favourite breast pump! Although it would be handy if it came with some sort of storage bag to keep everything together.
