1. Both myself and the kids (boys of 8 & 5) tested the baubles.
   
2. Was quite a nice idea, especially to give as a present, not sure I'd have bought them otherwise.
   
3. Had tasted the snowballs before but hadn't had, or seen the Oreo chocs before, think these were the favourite, especially as they were individually wrapped, meant you could treat yourself to just one or two rather than open a packet and scoff the lot!
   
4. Would definitely recommend both products, for taste and novelty value.

They look great! And they taste great! I was actually pleasantly suprised by the Oreo one. I would go and buy more for sure, and gift them.

My favourite was the snow balls as it reminds me of mini eggs.

My husband, children and I all tried the baubles. It was a lovely christmassy treat. I would definitely recommend them as all of us loved it. It also looks lovely.

There was great excitement when they arrived. We held back until after dinner and then dove in. We enjoyed them very much - indeed DP, who normally doesn't eat much chocolate was really taken with the Oreos. The bauble box was a really nice idea - useful to keep little things in after. It is too big to hang on our tree - so not sure how one would use it as a bauble. It could have been prettier I thought - more sparkly. Still it worked well as a container and added an extra element.

I love the snow balls. I really like that crispy outer shell. We all found the oreos a little too sweet - though that did not put DP off - or anyone really.

We would all recommend it. It is a treat - couldn't eat more than a couple at one time - but then that is what a treat is. It is a nice idea, delivered well, with a good quality sweet.
No idea how much they cost and whether that would alter my feeling. ah see they are 304 pounds. Yes, that is pretty good.

They are actually really nice, they look reusable too - which is excellent and good for the environment. They're quite a generous size.

I really liked the snow bites, but I really love mini eggs so they ticked those boxes. My lads liked the Oreos better, and hoovered most of those up! I was expecting to hate the Oreo ones because I absolutely despise Oreos - but actually they tasted really quite nice. Pleasantly surprised by both actually because I've been so disappointed with Roses this year, and the general decline in Cadburys flavour/texture/quality

Yes I would, they're cute, the goodies inside are tasty and they're definitely seasonal!

When these arrived, I couldn't wait to unwrap them, I mean, Cadbury's! Everyone loves Cadbury's at Christmas time!

The baubles were bigger than I expected at first because I was thinking Christmas tree baubles but I wasn't about to complain. The baubles being plastic were a good thing because while I was trying to unscrew the lid, I promptly dropped the snow bites so good on Cadbury's for that one.

On opening them, I was quite surprised to see the snow bites were individually wrapped because in the normal packets, they're all just in there with no wrapping at all. The Oreo bites were also individually wrapped which helped because as soon as my children saw them, a war broke out over who was getting how many and whether or not I was being greedy by having one first 'just to check they weren't poisonous'.

For anyone who hasn't tried them, snow bites are round balls covered in what looks like icing sugar and when you bite into them, they have a thin crunchy layer before being filled with chocolate and dear God they're good.

They chocolate is melt in your mouth delicious and I'm afraid the children didn't get as many as they'd hoped on account of me scoffing them

The oreo bites are indivually wrapped in the same way as the snow bites and after the first one, I thought I'd died and gone to chocolate heaven. I'm not even kidding. Cadbury's have managed to get them tasting exactly like Oreo cookies and they're gorgeous. They melt in your mouth and are so moreish.

Be warned though, too many will make you feel sick. I found that out the hard way after running out of the test pack in five minutes and having to nip to Asda to get some more to properly appreciate them

The only niggle I had with these is that they aren't filled to the top of the bauble. I know I shouldn't expect it to be, but I was disappointed nonetheless, especially after paying £3 for one at Asda.

All in all, I'd definitely buy these again, the children and I had so much fun play arguing over who got what, that it made the price tag worth it for me. I think we're going to have a new Christmas tradition involving these baubles from now on.

I think these are fun and would get them instead of the chocolates that you hang on the tree. I would like to see smaller versions that would be fun to give as gifts to my sons friends. I think maybe a card recycled version would be good for those of us who like to be eco. But of course the chocolate was yummy!

Q1..All the children (nearly 2, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 15) and I tried the dairy milk baubles. I did want to keep them for closer to Christmas but once they were seen it was only a matter of time before small hands would suss out how to open them.
Q2..The bauble packaging is a nice touch, my 11 year old has commandeered the baubles to repaint in festive colours to put back on the tree and (here I quote) "to be refilled every night for the 12 days of Christmas, but no one is to touch them until Christmas...it was only because the had to be tested..." I think I like the repainted baubles better... Maybe as a present Cadbury should consider a kit to decorate and personalise the baubles.
Q3..The snow bites tasted like a sweeter version of Cadbury Mini eggs. Nice, a bit over sweet and liked by all except by my 2 year old. The Oreo chocolates nearly sparked world war 3 and we had to halve some of them for fair sharing. (I also halved the 2 year olds because I am paranoid about small round objects getting stuck in his windpipe...he has all his teeth but I still cut grapes!) Preference was definitely for the Oreo Bauble.
Q4...Yes but I think I will have to get a bauble for each person and personalise to prevent Ragnarok.

Yes, both for your own home or as a gift. They are too big to hang on our tree but look cute sitting underneath. The packaging is reusable and I think it would be fun to refill with treats, perhaps to go with children's stockings (or just buy a new one as a gift for them).

Thank you so much for the opportunity to try these! I was slightly baffled at who would send me random chocolate through the post at first until I read my emails

1. DH, DS(2) and myself tried both of the chocolates.
2. We all loved the baubles. It's a great festive idea and more exciting to gift than a boring box of chocolates. The Oreos ones were dangerous, I could have polished off them off on my own if they weren't prised out of my hands by DH. The Snowball ones were also lovely, but I was a bit disappointed to see they were in mini packets rather than individually wrapped like the Oreo ones were.
3. My favourites were the Oreos, DH and DS preferred the Snowballs, which meant more Oreo ones for me!
4. Yes I would recommend as a Christmas gift, as said above they are more exciting than a boring box of chocs!

Myself, husband, and all four kids (12, 11, 10 & 9), plus the kids gave one to their grandparents when they visited!

We thought they were brilliant, liked the idea of the individually wrapped treats, good size treats, not too big or too small, we bought some more to put on the tree so it looked a bit fuller! We also got some more to give for presents coz they're a nice size, good for stockings too. The girls bought them for their friends having seen ours.

We really liked the idea cookie one as they'd not had that before and they love Cadbury chocolate plus Oreos so that was definitely their favourite!

Oh definitely, as I said we got more to give as gifts as they're a perfect size, quite big but not too expensive, and great for the tree or under the kids little trees in their rooms. Great for the kids to get for their school friends or grandparents too.

Yes is the general consensus from my family, although I saw them retailing at £3 (with a £1 discount already applied) in Sainsburys and thought that quite 'steep' in terms of 'value for money' (or not as the case may be!).

Brilliant, novelty packaging and taste amazing. Daughter could not decide which ones were her favourite, whenever I asked her she proclaimed that she couldn't choose as they were both her favourite.

Everyone in our household agrees that the Oreo's were the best. The snow bites were good, but we tend to like softer sweets rather than hard shell sweets.

We all loved them. I'd already bought a Snow Bite bauble for DS' stocking as he loves them, so it was good to see he wasn't going to be disappointed. I did struggle to get the top off though, but maybe that's just me.

DS and DH preferred the Snow Bites, while I preferred the Oreos - I found the Snow Bites a little bland and they didn't give me that chocolatey 'hit'.

Yes I would. The packaging makes them a nice gift, and there's less than in a traditional selection box, which is helpful if you're trying to avoid too much unhealthy stuff. And better for sharing too.

Me (43), Mum (70), Grandma (90), and three DC aged 10, 8 and 6

Q2. What did you think of the Cadbury Dairy Milk Baubles overall?
An unusual way of giving chocolate in an attractive package, but the bauble is too big to hang on our 6 foot tree and has to be placed on the floor next to it. It is great that the bauble is reusable, refillable and all the branding can be removed so I can see it coming our year on year.

Q3. Did you have a favourite bauble? If so, which was it?
We enjoyed the Oreo bauble very much and it seemed quite good value for money, it is something that we would consider giving as a gift. DM and DGM both were a bit reluctant to try the oreo one as they don't like the biscuits, but it was their favourite too. The fact that the chocolates are individually wrapped meant that we could just have one or two, unlike the snowbites which can in small bags which meant we felt like we should eat a bag at a time.

The adults found the snowbites a bit too sweet, and we are all chocolate lovers, eatable but they wouldn't be first choice. The children enjoyed them though.

Q4. Would you recommend Cadbury Dairy Milk Baubles as a Christmas treat? If so, why? If not, why not?
We often end up giving boxes of chocolate to TAs, Brownie Owls and Rainbow leaders or token gifts to friends, these would definitely be considered to replace the bog standard box of Heroes.
