Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this?

I was very pleased that it doesn't irritate my hands like some washing up liquids. I'm not sure if my hands are softer, though I think they feel softer immediately after washing up. Dh is a bit more sceptical and says he doesn't notice any difference.

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid?

I don't think we've found a lot of difference in terms of how well it cleans or how bubbly it is. It looks much bubblier in the bottle but I don't notice any difference when using it. I think it's lasting about the same amount of time.

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)

I think I would buy it if on special offer. I'm not sure I could justify paying 51p more than my usual washing up liquid but if it was about the same price I possibly would buy it.

Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?

I would recommend it purely based on the fact it doesn't irritate my hands. I haven't done so yet though.

Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this?

It did make my hands noticably softer. I was very impressed with that as I have very dry hands.

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid?

I normally use a supermarket own brand liquid. The Fairy cucumber liquid that I tried was much kinder to my hands and washed the dishes well. Lots of lovely bubbles!

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)

Having tried it for free I probably will use it in the future. If I was seeing it in the supermarket for the first time I would probably only try it if it was on special offer.

Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?

I don't normally discuss washing up liquids with my friends but having said that my SIL suffers from very dry hands so I might recommend it to her.

Thank you for the trial, lovely clean dishes and softer hands!

Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this? There was a definite difference in hands post-washing up with this than with my other washing up liquid - didn't get as much of a "dry" feeling with it

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid? I didn't think it had the longevity of my usual (Fairy Original) - it smelled nicer though, and the water felt "softer"

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)
I might do if it were on offer

Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?

I would give them a positive opinion on it if they asked me about it, but I wouldn't proactivly discuss it with others

Q1 My hands did feel softer but the feeling wasn't especially long lasting, my husband didn't notice any difference

Q2 I usually use Fairy and the only difference I noticed was that it seemed less bubbly but washed things just as well as normal Fairy

Q3 I would probably only buy it on a special offer price and wouldn't want to pay more than I normally do

Q4 I would recommend it to a friend who has problems with dry skin, haven't recommended it yet

Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this?

It made my hands feel like there was a slight residue on them, and I still felt the need to slather on hand cream (VERY dry hands)
Partner didn't notice!

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid?
No noticeable difference.

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)
Wouldn't bother unless it was on special offer as I still use hand cream.

Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?
No.

Q1 I found my hands weren't as dry as they usually are after I wash the dishes, which is once or twice a day. DH is yet to try it.

Q2 I buy Fairy anyway so found no real difference except the bubbles didn't last as long.

Q3 Probably, as I already buy Fairy. I do like how my hands feel afterwards.

Q4 Already have.

I am still using the bottle I was sent, very impressed I must say.

Q1 I was initially sceptical that it would make any difference but my hands did feel less dry than they do when I use the normal Fairy. DP didn't notice any difference but I think the last time he washed up was some time in 2009...

Q2 There was definitely less oomph when it came to grease cutting and there perceptively fewer bubbles. It smelt delicious and had less of a chemical tang to it than other scented washing up liquids though.

Q3 I would consider buying it if it was on offer as the smell was lovely and there was a slight improvement in how dry my hands were but I would probably keep a bottle of normal Fairy for particularly problematic greasy pans.

Q4 If it came up in conversation I'd probably mention it but would actively trumpet it's quality to fiends. The difference just wasn't enough.

Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this? It did seem a little kinder to your hands, they weren't quite so dry afterwards. dh felt the same, hes quite keen on soft hands!

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid? It cleaned as well as my normal washing up liquid.

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)
I'm not sure I would spend £1.50 on a new bottle as it is quite expensive. I would look out for it if it was on offer though and purchase it then.
Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?

I have said we were testing it to friends and they did come and have a feel. Oh how my life has changed!

Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this?

It was slightly better than normal Fairy but not enough to make me give up the gloves. DH didn't notice any difference

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid?

Washed dishes and windows just fine - I was worried it would leave the windows smeary.

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)

Probably not - although the smell is nice it doesn't smell like washing up liquid should - smells more like a shampoo - I don't like the Pink Petals version either. I'll be sticking with original or at a pinch lemon!

Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?

No

1)- I'm the only one that used it but i was impressed. My hands were less dry and do feel a bit softer.
2)- preferred it lots to my usual brand. (supermarket own brand) it seemed to work better and need less of it.
3)- most likely. i think i have been converted to the 'fairy' brand rather than the olay one itself. I ended up ordering 2 bottles of green fairy on my most recent internet shop (special offer) I dont think i'd go back to a cheaper supermarket brand unless i needed to watch my pennies very tightly, so would watch out and stock up during promotions.
4)- i dont tend to chat about washing up liquid with friends, however if it came up in general conversation, yes i would say i liked it and why.
thank you, i do like product testsSmile

it made my hands feel soft, and left a nice smell on them, there was not itchiness or bleeding after using it.

Q1 To be really honest it made my hands feel a little bit slimey, I wasn't over using the liquid but had to really rinse my hands afterwards. They did feel softer but not a lasting effect.

Q2 Seems to last longer than cheaper brands, but didn't live up to the expectation I had of it,

Q3 It is a little on the expensive side for a small bottle, if it was perhaps 2 for £2 I probably would but definately not at full price.

Q4 Have told my family about it, My Mum uses fairy all the time so she will probably give it a go.

Q1 I found an initial difference but the effect seemed to lessen every time I used it. Or maybe I just got used to the level of softness IYSWIM. Maybe I need to try some ordinary washing up liquid again to compare.

Q2 The smell was nice but overpowering. It washed well but didn't seem as bubbly. I don't care about bubbles as long as the dishes are clean though.

Q3 Might do depending on price

Q4 It's not really a topic of conversation that comes up for me, but if it did then yes.

  1. No difference to softness of hands
  2. As I'm currently using "normal" fairy liquid I noticed no difference in cleaning power, but it is better than most other brands of washing up liquid, ie less liquid required and cleaner power lasts longer.
  3. Only if on special offer but would probably choose normal fairy as I didn't like the smell (almond) - okay for bubble bath but not for dishes! Prefer a fresher, more citrus smell.
  4. No

Other comments - as mentioned in Q3, I didn't like the smell, thought it wasn't a washing up liquid smell, sorry.

Hi

I got the silk and orchid one.

  1. My hands were definitely softer.

  1. It was less bubbly. In terms of cleaning, it was no better and no worse than ordinary Fairy.

  1. Won't buy it at that price, it's just too expensive. Plus, I really didn't like the smell of it.

  1. Would mention I'd used it if it came up in conversation, but won't be raving about it unsolicited.

Other comments - I really, really didn't like the smell of it!! Was horrid. It did not smell 'fresh' - I guess I am conditioned to like my washing liquid fruity smelling!

Overall, it does what it says on the tin, but - for me at least - doesn't really have a 'wow' factor that would make me rush out and buy it again.

Q1 - hands felt less dry immediately after using it compared with usual (own brand) liquid. No long term difference though - hands do not feel any softer/more moisturused.

Q2 - about same amount of bubbles as usual liquid (but less than normal Fairy). Cleaned just as well - good on greasy things. Needed to use just as much liquid.

Q3 - would not buy the one we tested (silk and orchid?) as smell was was too strong and not very pleasant. More like washing powder or soap than washing up liquid. Do like the idea of washing up liquid with moisturiser, but not this one. Also didn't like that the liquid was opaque.

Q4 - have not recommended. Might suggest someone 'gave it a go' if they were complaining about dry hands, but would not actively recommend.

Other comments - liquid felt a bit tacky in the water - while it cleaned things fine, I did wonder if it was leaving a residue, so rinsed things very carefully.

Hth!

Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this?

It made them quite a bit softer - it has nearly sorted out my dry skin on my hands without the use of a hand moisturiser. I am the only one that washes up so noone else can comment or has used it

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid?

It is better quality and the smell is better too. I actually liked washing up.

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)

I may be buying again but the fact that I do not work any more - left my job to be with my little girl, every penny saved helps so the cheaper brands may be more attractive regardless of how they treat my hands. Maybe if it was on special offer then I may buy a few bottles and keep them in stock.

Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?

I will as it has left my hands feeling rather good for once in many months! Thanks for choosing me to try out the product.

Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this?

I thought it might have dried them out SLIGHTLY less. Another household user reports that she notices no difference.

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid?

It looked and smelled like shower gel (not a point in its favour I'm afraid!). I prefer a transparent, fresh smelling liquid, rather than an opaque, pearly, smelly liquid. In terms of washing, it did well, might possibly make more bubbles than usual, but I don't rate bubbles as such, more the ability to wash well and be rinsed off quickly and easily. It did wash well, but I felt that perhaps more rinsing was required.

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)

No thank you, I will stick to what I have at present (Ecover). Am more interested in environmental impact than exotic smells.

Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?

Probably not. Unless my friend was after a marzipan smelling liquid, in which case, I could recommend her this whole heartedly. Smile

(Am I allowed to say that to date I have NEVER had a conversation with a friend about washing up liquid?)

1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this?

They felt soft but only for a short while after washing up. I still needed to apply hand cream afterwards as my hands dry out quickly. DH noticed a slight difference in softness but only mentioned it when I enquired.

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid?

We normally use the regular green Fairy. No difference in cleaning power with the Cucumber and Aloe Vera Fairy we were sent.

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)

Probably not, I prefer the smell and look of regular Fairy and rarely buy a different fragrance as it doesn't seem appropriate for washing dishes in.

Q4 Would you recommend (or have you already recommended) new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness to your friends?

I might, but can't see it coming up in conversation.

Q1 How did using new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness make your hands feel after using it? What did other household users say about this?

Did notice my hands were a bit softer - I usually get very dry skin when washing up etc but there was a definite improvement in this respect.

Q2 How did new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness compare to your normal dish washing liquid?

We don't always use the same washing up liquid but I found it had a pleasant smell and seemed to work well with very little liquid used.

Q3 Do you think you would buy new Fairy Clean & Care with a touch of Olay softness again? (The recommended price is £1.50 for 433ml though retailers may well have it on special offer)

I would certainly consider it although I generally prefer to use eco products for washing up.

I would recommend it as I think it is a good product.
