Cleaning - dry blood in carpet

My son has awful nose bleeds, particularly early mornings. We have a trail of dried blood spots from his bedroom to ours and back out to the bathroom. Stupidly i didn't clean them straight away because we had to rush off to school/work and now they're dry i can't get them out!

Already tried supermarket own spot cleaner, vanish foam, and vanish powder solution rubbed in. Anyone got any tried and tested tips? (Cream carpet)

Vax/ professional carpet cleaner? They have removed dry vomit from my carpet where my baby was sick and needed to go to a and e so I didn't have time to do anything about it.
