Thanks for the new thread! Congrats again to all the new mums! So lovely to log in and see all the new arrivals.

I'm 40 plus 5, midwife couldn't do sweep on Monday so booked for induction in one week. Never been this pregnant before so I'm pretty pissed off and in quite a bit of pain...ah well, 7 days maximum to go!

How many of us are still left to have our babies? Doesn't feel like many any more. Congratulations Mcbaby I think we've nearly
had every type of birth now.

Thanks for the new thread and congratulations to @dreamofhungarianlanterns @mcbaby and @sipperSkipper!

It's exciting to see all the babies arrive although I have a feeling I have a while to go (39+3) today. No twinges or any slight indication at all he is coming so preparing myself mentally to go overdue!

I am still here!
Today is my due date. I was up from 12:30-4 this morning with intense back pain but it is gone now.
Doubt baby will arrive before my next MW appt on sat morning.

Just popping in quickly to place mark and say congratulations to Dream, McBaby & Sipper.

Been in the hospital for nearly 24 hours now, 40+14 today and baby still not keen of eviction and all efforts for induction yesterday died off over night. Bouncing away on the ball this morning. Had 2 lots of gel, have 1 more I can have in 4 hours if still no luck!

Hope everyone with twinges has better behaved babies than mine! And fingers crossed for all those who's due date has been and gone and are still waiting!

First day with other half back at work! Have managed to eat some breakfast but haven't settled since so no chance of shower or getting dressed just yet 🙄

So worried that the day will feel very long! Hoping for some decent naps so I can get some packing done as well!

39 weeks today. I spent yesterday batch cooking, mainly Cake today Smile
My feet have swollen up really bad last two days. I'm assuming this is normal!?
Today I'm going to finally wash baby's first clothes!

I'm 38+1 today, due the 30th and REALLY hoping it won't be much later, I am so ready to be able to bend over again! Hoping for a water birth if I can, I'm up north at the RVI in Newcastle. Nervous, excited and much more physically prepared than mentally!!

Report
McBaby · 17/05/2017 11:10

Question for more experienced ladies among us....breastfeeding in public how do you do it? I'm not that brave yet but I'd maybe like to practice at home to get it slick Grin

Hi everyone. I'm a long time lurker on this thread - I've been reading it for months, and it's been great to hear all about your experiences. Hope it's ok to join at the eleventh hour?! My due date is tomorrow and have been starting to feel painful cramps this morning, so hopefully something is starting to move in the right direction. Loving all the baby pics - congratulations to everyone who has had their little ones - how exciting :)

Hi all, still here and still impatient Sadhad a sweep on Friday which was my due date and have definitely lost plug since then. Lots of twinges but no cramping so far.

Seeing mw tomorrow for another sweep and to book induction for following week. In the meantime, lots of walking and bouncing on the ball. Would be nice if the sun could come back though!
