Found my dream dress today...it's over my budget by £800 but I'm not sure if my budget was U to start with as I seemed underestimate how much they cost!
How much was your dress?

£250 from Monsoon, my DM made a couple of alterations for me. This is the cheaper end of the market though!

£195 (in 1998). Plus £25 of alterations. Shoes were £20 from Nine West and that was it! But my good friend who got married at the same time paid £1000 for her beautiful dress (which seemed expensive at the time)

About £550 for dress veil and bolero then £50 of alterations. I didn't have a budget and fell in love with a fairly cheap dress in the end.

£1,250 + £150 alterations. I'd wear it all the time if I could still fit into it.

£220 and I love it.

£250
I tried an £800 one on but seemed ridiculous to be paying £100 per hour to wear it Shock

€400 plus about €100 of alterations. It was the sample dress from a previous season. Would have cost about €2000 otherwise, which was way above my budget.

£180 (not a wedding dress; it was blue)

I plan to spend about £250 but i prefer the look of non weddingy wedding dresses - bustles, ruches, sweetheart necklines, sparkles and trains are not for me.

£300 within the last couple of years. Then about another £100 on alterations, IIRC. Was lovely enough. Very glad I didn't spend more.

About £750, it was the only bit of the wedding which came in under budget and was the first one I tried on.

£140 made to measure from China. It fit perfectly and was gorgeous! The material and stitching was fantastic quality.

I sold it on eBay for £120 afterwards.
