If you're 5 foot 6 and a half... how much do you weigh...

As the title says... and do you think of yourself as slim, average or overweight?
I think I'm struggling with body image. I've gone down from 11 stone 9 a year ago to approx 9 stone 11... I still feel very overweight and want to lose another 0.5 stone at least. But people say I'll look too thin then. I'm 48 if that helps.

I also wanted to lose more but I feel I ended up tipping into looking gaunt. I used to be slimmer pre kids and when I was much younger but that size doesn't suit me any more.

I think you are right, you are struggling with your body image Flowers and I say that as a 5'7, 10st 10lb person.

13 stone and not remotely bothered about losing any weight at the moment. I’ve got chronic disabilities and a lot of my treatment involves steroids so the weight has piled on - but I’m healthier than I’ve been for a long time. Focus on health, not weight.

10 stone 1 since acquiring weight during this latest lockdown.
Slim to average but only because it's not balanced, I have long skinny legs. I'm mid 50s and it suits my face but my ideal weight (for my clothes to fit right) is about 9st 5-7lbs.
Anything less makes me look gaunt these days.

I'm 5'6" (and 3/4s) and hang around the 10 stone mark. Am 44. I think I look very average - size 12 - but with a rather puffy middle these days 🥲... I did not appreciate my abs til they were long gone.

I'm 5ft 6 and weighing 10 stone 4 at moment (just lost a stone ) and feel about average.

I'm almost exactly the same age and height as you, and have just made a very similar weight loss over the last year. Now 10 stone 3 and size 10, and feel pretty great, though that's in comparison with where I was a year and 1.5 stone ago. Still not really toned, but not sure I even aspire to that now. At least I've lost that 'padding' around my back, shoulders and waist that used to show under clothes. Sadly I've also lost a fair bit off my bust. But I'm pretty happy with how I now look, 'clothed' at least.

@Twospaniels 63kg is just under 10st. I wish I was 9st 9lbs! But it’s definitely about 4lbs heavier than that Grin

Average, 11 stone 9, size 12 bottom, 16 top (huge boobs!). I've come down from 14 stone in the last few years so I feel slim for me, but I could do with losing at least half a stone.

I am that exact height. Currently around 10st and a size 10. I can maintain this by eating healthily and exercising without denying myself all the things I enjoy. I feel fit and healthy. I have been 9st and in hindsight I did look a bit gaunt. I think I'd look best around 9st7 but I'm 42 and am now more concerned with enjoying life than with being "thin"

I’m around 9 1/2 stone; 42 years old. About half a stone above my ideal weight due to various illnesses preventing me from doing my usual exercise. I should be back to 9 stone soon, at which weight I feel strong and trim and my clothes fit well (sizes vary from shop to shop but around a size 10).

That's exactly my height and I'm 62kg at the mo and regularly go up to 64kg (10st.). I would like to be about half a stone lighter but not enough to really make the effort. BMI right in the middle of healthy, kind friends would describe me as slim but I guess I'm medium. Size 10 clothes, sometimes a 12.

And I feel average where I live in Australia, I think maybe in the UK I'd feel slimmer Confused

15st. Obviously overweight!

I'm healthiest around 11st, maybe 10.5st. Only time I've been below that was in early pregnancy and wasn't eating. Frame comes into it as well... Broad shoulders and hips!
