Thank you! I love these threads. So many real life sales at the moment but I'm trying to be extra picky this year.

woodwaj · 14/04/2022 22:01

I've finally splashed out on an oodie. I also got a Facebook Ad for buy one get one free on selected designs. I ordered Saturday they arrived Tuesday and they are really comfy I paid £89 for the two but looking at ebay prices I prob could have sold the 2nd one for a decent amount if I wanted to.

PinkDaydreams · 15/04/2022 08:26

Thanks for the new thread @Sideorderofchips

Famousthehero · 15/04/2022 20:38

Thanks for the thread!

toys for a pound code MAMABEAR10 gives (I assume) 10% off

natural play makeup 15% off with EASTER15 - albeit prices have gone up since Xmas so this brings them down to what they were :-/

Christmas21 · 16/04/2022 08:19

Christmas bedding with an extra 15% off with the code EASTER15.

On the last thread I remember someone asking if smellies will last until Christmas. What was the verdict please? Considering bath bomb sets (teacher presents) from Next but not sure if they will last?

I've kept some for over five years before and they're fine
PinkDaydreams · 17/04/2022 07:15

@catoftheland great thank you!

PoshWatchShitShoes · 17/04/2022 14:52

So happy to see this thread 👏🎄

PoshWatchShitShoes · 17/04/2022 14:53

@PinkDaydreams ime the bath bombs wrapped in sealed plastic last well. The ones from Lush (just in a paper bag) don't smell as nice after about 4 months!! So depends on the wrapping.

Thank you for the advice! I'll do a smell test in a few months and if they're no good then I will keep and use! 😁

Gap sale worth a browse. Some thing have an extra 50% off, then all seem to have 20% off then another 15% this weekend. These pyjamas, for example, say £9.99 but come up as £3.39 in basket. Got some bargainous socks etc too.

Great minds think alike @PinkDaydreams Grin I have ordered some from Next for the same reason! And a few for DS (almost 5) who thinks bath bombs are, well, the bomb Wink The set that comes in the wire star decoration with 5 mini bombs inside has already arrived and for the £3 sale price I'm impressed.

Thank you so much for the tip. Just ordered 5 sets of pyjamas, 2 packs of 4 pairs of socks, 4 summer shorts and a sweat top, all for £40!

A bit random and niche but if Disney have a got a great sale on their pins on their website if anyone is a collector/knows anyone visiting or who just likes their pins? The stitch crashes ones which are huge are now £6 (were £20) and the blind box key style ones are £2 instead of £10. There were also some others but they were the ones that stood out for me and yes I really need to change my username Confused

Bluegirl222 · 19/04/2022 19:34

Thanks for Gap tip bought lots to put away

Notlongnow1 · 19/04/2022 21:40

@bluegirl222 and @indreamland glad you found some good bits too 🙂

Are these pins as in like a badge? They look like soft toys on the website.

I love Stitch and have quite a collection and these Disney Crashes ones are good but I want a soft toy

Hi yes as in a badge. They are lovely the stitch ones and for £6 we’ll worth it. I think they do the plushies too but not sure if they’re on offer.

CarrotCarrotCucumber · 20/04/2022 18:48

There are some pretty gifts in the Gisela Graham sale- candles, homeware etc among the egg cups and easter decorations: shop.giselagraham.co.uk/Home-and-Gift/Home-and-Gift-Sale

Martinisarebetterdirty · 22/04/2022 13:39

Cherryrainbow · 22/04/2022 17:09

As someone who works in retail please bear a thought for us who sometimes get the wrath of someone who receives a present from a friend or relative who shops smart but doesn't appreciate the 'gift' received. Those who consider it rude not to say so, those givers who take the tag off to hide the price paid so as not to offend the recipient...it's left to those in retail to deliver the bad news and to take the flack when something has been clearly bought in the sale the year before and we are not willing to offer to take it back in exchange for current stock

Sideorderofchips · 22/04/2022 18:37

Whilst I understand your point, these threads are to help people save money.

A fair few people on here also work in retail.
