I’m wanting to buy a really special box of chocolates for the lady next door as she’s always so lovely and kind to DD
Any suggestions please

I’d get a giant box of charbonnel et Walker truffles. They look really impressive, like an old fashioned powder puff box I always think(!) and they’re my favourite. I love the champagne ones but they’re all lovely.

Amelie Chocolat or Chococo

actiongirl1978 · 23/11/2021 16:59

Chococo every single time. We live near one of their shops and its actual heaven inside.

Art Chocolat www.art-Chocolat.com very well received last Christmas!

Booja booja for sure

Another for Charbonnel et Walker truffles. I love the pink champagne ones. DH loved the Jamaican Rum ones but haven’t seen them in a few years.
They are presented in a way that makes them feel special. Round boxes with each truffle nestled in its own little paper case.

How about Prestat?

MackenCheese · 23/11/2021 17:16

Hotel chocolat has some amazing boxes this year!

HaroldSteptoesHorse · 23/11/2021 17:17

Lindt but that’s because I love them

I like to support independent chocolate shops when possible and love these guys, in fact I'm ordering some for presents myself right now. I've tried loads and prefer them to a lot of the others, including present obanchocolate.co.uk/

bailarbailar · 23/11/2021 17:22

That should be Prestat, obviously. I have an intense dislike of hotel chocolat

GreyhoundG1rl · 23/11/2021 17:22

Audreys chocolates.

WindUpBird · 23/11/2021 17:35

Echoing others who have said Chococo.

I always buy from Simon Dunn, a chocolate boutique place near me. Exquisite.

Lovemusic33 · 23/11/2021 17:52

Last year Aldi did a big box for Black Friday that are similar to hotel chocolate, I thought they tasted better than hotel chocolate to be honest.

We have a local chocolate shop which sells amazing handmade chocolates but they are soooo expensive (don’t get much for your money).

A company called ‘Lick the spoon’ in Bath are my go to for a treat or gift. Their chocolate is exceptional and all packaging plastic free!

Jumpingintochristmas · 23/11/2021 18:22

Ps. I highly recommend the sea salt caramels and the pink champagne truffles. Last year’s Christmas box was delicious too snd not too big so it saves me being a glutton!

PerditaNitt · 23/11/2021 18:24

Rococo - lovely for quirky shaped chocolates.

Artisan du chocolat - they usually do gorgeous packaging. Their sea salt caramels are famous but I like their normal chocolates more.

Baboutheocelot · 23/11/2021 18:26

Chococo chocolates are so good.
