Masha and the bear

My disabled daughter is age 14 and she loves the Russian kids series called Masha and the Bear. I've done an Internet search for toys, English talking figures with the bear etc. but most are selling them from eastern countries with over 28 day delivery. I've tried ebay and amazon but there doesn't seem to be any UK retailers with delivery before Christmas. Any ideas please? Thanks

Have you seen the t shirt transfer paper. You print it using an inkjet printer then iron it on. If you can find nice pictures you may be able to make a few bits yourself with the characters.

Yes I was thinking that myself but as she's off school unwell she has been watching masha on youtube all day and talking to her own teddy/best friend about them. I've trawled the Net all day to try and find her a talking Masha and Bear and they do have them outside UK but I'm cautious about sending money away. I know that sounds daft but with the delivery being 28 days, it would not be here in time for Christmas and I could lose the money too.

Hi, i did have a look to try and find some but found the same as you (i.e. long delivery times)

I'm just wondering if perhaps you could order them and if they come after christmas then pretend you have 'found' the present and santa must have left it at christmas but we didn't see it/didn't realise.

I'm not sure if this would work with your daughter but my DH did this one year was DSS3 still believed in santa (he was about 7 i think) and it worked.

Hi evmil, yes I think that when my older daughter comes in from work I will ask her to have a look on Amazon. I'm just so cautious of sending money out of the UK but she has bought a few things off ebay from China and she's had no problems. DD doesn't know that I've been looking for it for Christmas so it will still be a surprise whenever it comes lol

Hi, I'm not familiar with the show so not sure how good any of these are and not really exactly what you're looking for but Etsy has some things on their site with shipping time 1-2 weeks, although I suppose that could be cutting it a bit close. I think Etsy is pretty secure, I've never had any problems in the past but I know it's like individual sellers etc. Hope you manage to find something for your DD or the other things you have seen come sooner! :) www.etsy.com/search?q=masha+and+bear&order=most_relevant&view_type=gallery&ship_to=GB

Thanks 1878, I will have a look now. I've just seen a doll on Gumtree but it's for London pick up so I'm trying to get a postage cost to Merseyside.
