I see there’s been daily practice posts before, and thought it might be nice to start up again. Would love to hear of other’s practices.

My practice has dropped a lot this year, new job has completely changed my free hours and I’ve struggled to get peaceful time for yoga, or anything really…but I know I’d feel better physically, mentally and spiritually if I find that time.

Today I started a membership with YogaEasy, there’s so many classes available (lots of an hour too which is nice). I’m really looking forward to trying out the teachers. Did a 25 min Strengthening Fascia Flow earlier that was very energising, and am just about to do a 45min Sweat and Serenity video.

Yes! I used to do daily yoga but I really struggle to be motivated and find time, I could find time though.

Hi @ErwinsCat 😊

My best friend swears by doing hers immediately she gets out of bed, before her shower for work. She gets up early and uses earphones. Me, I like to properly relax at the end so prefer evening but it can be too easy to put off for tomorrow. I used to be fine doing it earlier with the children interrupting me but nowadays I really crave peace.

My practice went very slow and gentle for a while, which I obviously needed, but my fitness has definitely diminished. Tonight’s power/yin was a good combination.

35min Unwind The Spine YogaEasy video, one of their evening recommendations and I enjoyed it - lots of twists…felt like I was wringing out the day.

35min Strength for Life practice by Tashi Dawa. Really invigorating.

I need to find my motivation. Well done you, keep going.

Heraldry · 13/06/2026 23:02

@ErwinsCat the hardest part is actually just getting on your mat! I’ve now got mine out on my bedroom floor all the time so I’ve no excuse 😂😂. Maybe you could do a short practice or a style/teacher you’ve not tried before to tempt yourself.

I was absolutely floored by today’s practice, had a rest on my bed straight after lol. Why does jumping get so difficult as an adult when you do it so effortlessly as a child 😂.

A lovely guided meditation today, no asana.

Esther Ekhart 40 min Strength in Softening evening practice. Really hit the spot after a long day.

I have a Hot Pod yoga close to me & a membership. I do 5-6 classes a week. Just back from a lovely hot sweaty flow class.

if I don’t go to a class I usually do a little bit of yoga at home.

Iriseee · 15/06/2026 20:31

I've just restarted my yoga with Adriene practices. I do it as soon as I get up, before breakfast shower or anything else. No kids though so it's a bit easier.

Heraldry · 15/06/2026 22:30

@RobinEllacotStrike that sounds like you must feel so good after!

@Iriseee YWA is always a good shout, what type of practices are you gravitating towards at the minute?

Not sure if it counts but I've got back into doing 61 point yoga nidra at night. But yin yoga once a week as well. Post partum so working slowly. I miss it

Heraldry · 16/06/2026 19:32

Hi @PeasePuddingPottage it definitely counts! Yoga is such a lovely way to slowly build a new friendship with your body and mind post partum. Are you finding the nidra helping you to rest deeper when you can?

I did a lovely practice today, Boost Your Strength Potential, with Tashi Dawa on YogaEasy…it was definitely challenging but in such a positive and energising way.

Is that an app? Sounds intriguing x

Heraldry · Yesterday 23:05

@PeasePuddingPottage yes, I recently joined for a month as got a 20% off code for any membership and am really glad I did. Lots of videos, lots of different length and styles, lots of teachers - and a very knowledgeable one who I’d known of before (Esther Ekhart). It also has yoga articles and lives. Today I did a 45min Strong Energy Flow and it definitely was, but also very steady and calming.
