Feeling sick after yoga

Second yoga class tonight. I guess it was a bit more intense. Since I got home I feel sick.. is this a normal response?
I had dinner about 3 hours before hand so plenty time for it to go down.

What kind of yoga is it? Ashtanga can be pretty brutal at first - I remember aching all over after the first few sessions.

I actually don't know..it's part of the gym and is just labeled as Yoga on the timetable.

Was it an energetic yoga - something that got you sweating and your heart and lungs and muscles going?

If yes, that will be why.

Evening yoga is generally (supposed) to be more restorative and gentle (and is a brilliant counter-balance to stretch and tone your muscles rather than work them hard), partly because we've usually had a meal or two by then and anything strenuous disrupts the 'rest and digest' process.
