My ds is a GK and he loves penalties- says there is no pressure on GKs it’s all on the players. But he still manages to save a fair few!

True - but when they brought on Ryan as a 'specialist' there was an expectation he would at least save something.

I was impressed with Egypt. They literally stepped up to the task and taking penalties.

It’s awful isn’t it. I know they have to get to the end of a game somehow , but it’s always hard on those who miss. It really messed up Southgate’s life for years didn’t it. It can’t be easy.
