I'd forgotten Mexico have a sort-of home advantage. That's my excuse if we lose to them. Obviously got to win tonight first - gahhh.

Mexico will be so tough IF they get to go there on Monday. It’s a shame it’s on so late for the real fans to watch at home.

I’m here! Will prob miss match as travelling then restaurant and film. I’m nervous for England now though.

I never feel comfortable watching England especially if it goes to penalties. It’s just too fraught with bad memories isn’t it.

Morning morning

Just did a morning supermarket run buying beer at 9.30am like a proper wino!

More importantly food items for teens and additional teen in case we have two football crazy heartbroken teenagers later (eldest will be fine regardless but football teen and his football teammate less so!)

Buffalo wings and homemade chocolate ice cream all round plenty for everyone!

For what it’s worth I think England will win today, it won’t be pretty or reassuring!

Half an hour before kick off, any predictions?

England will win today, then lose to Mexico.

A France world cup win I'd be happy with, they are the best team, and respect for Didier Deschamps as both manager now and when he was a player.
