Should you receive a new contract that states your new hours?

I'm part time (3 days a weeks) but still have my contract that states I work 37.5 hrs a week.

I did when I went from full-time to 80% full time.

you shoudl get soemthing in writing. it might just be a letter stating the amendment to your contract

I didn't get a new contract but I think I got a letter stating the new arrangement and pay.
