Applying for teaching post

After 3 years on supply i have seen a job i REALLY want. Problem is i havent applied for a job for 11 years.

Any advice on my letter of application? Things to swot up on?

I would start with outlining the range of teaching experiences you have had over the last 3 years. If you have had any extended supply where you have been responsible for planning etc I would focus on that.

I wuld suggest that you will also need to show that you have kept up to date with current trends in teaching e.g. AFL etc and how these influence your teaching.

Then a subject focus - your areas of expertise and any trends in your seubject area.
