Went back to work Tuesday last week and did three days. Decided Tuesday this week that ds's nursery not right for him and have taken him and dd out and stopped work. AARGH! Though am trying to arrange different hours with work so neither need go to nursery again. Hey ho - it's the right decision though.

wow dinny,

sounds like it was definitely the right decision though - much better than carrying on and making yourself and kids miserable.

did your former employer go bananas?

dinny · 05/08/2005 09:05

Lummox. No, they are great - v supportive. Hopefully we are going to work out alternative work pattern which means I don't have to use childcare...

Wow dinny that would be great!
I changed childcare after 3 weeks. you will be so much happier - sounds like you could have the perfect solution - hope it goes well.

am dropping (hopefully) from 26 hours a week to just 12. and will bring home the same amount of money (as will have no nursery fees) Mad, hey?
