Term time work paid over 12 months - final salary calculation - HELP

I work 36 weeks a year, term time only in a nursery. My salary is paid across the full 12 months so that I have a regular wage coming in during school holidays.

When I leave - how do I calculate how much I am owed?

From how I understand it, for any given month at work during term time, my gross pay for that month is divided by 12 and paid to me across the following 12 months, but when I actually try to calculate my final figure I am owed I just go round in circles.

Can anyone help me calculate it ?

Thanks

Wouldn't you divide the gross by 36 and mulitply it by the number of weeks you have actually worked during the current financial year. Compare that to what you have received (gross) over the same period and the difference is what you are owed.

What LIZS said. Divide total annual salary by 36, multiply by the number of weeks worked this year, and that's how much you should have received.
