Pre return to work meeting (post mat leave)

I have a meeting in a couple of weeks with my employers

I am planning on returning in June and i have informed them of this

I have always worked flexibly in terms of my hours and 1 or 2 days working at home

This was never in my contract but was agreed and i was doing it for 2.5 years before i went on Mat Leave

what are my rights on returning on these terms?

I don't think my employers are going to be difficult would just be good to know what i can ask for

Also, i am assuming as i have not taken the full year's leave i am entitled to return to the same job or equivalent

Am feeling a little nervous TBH

thanks for any advice

You are entitled to return on the same terms and conditions, so you should keep your existing flexible arrangement. It would be better if you had something in writing obviously but if you've been doing that consistently for 2.5 years prior to ML that would count as established terms and conditions of employment.

If you are returning after 6 months or less, you are entitled to the exact same job. If you are returning after longer than 6 months, you are entitled to a suitable job on no less favourable terms and conditions, if it's not practical to give you your exact same job back.
