Agree colour not good. It makes it look a bit old-fashioned, especially with the 'notebook' look of the main body of the site. You want to give a professional, modern, up-to-date look, not one which is more reminiscent of a secretary.
Site is very wordy and repetitive in places, needs to be punchier.
You need some images, it's all text at the moment. Ideally a logo, but some pictures as well.
It's not clear what's going on in the sidebar on each page. You've got headings 'Pages', 'Category', 'Archives' and 'Recent Comments'. Under the Pages heading there are obviously links to some of the other pages, but some of those links are repeated in the header bar and some are new ones, I think you need to either not have that bit at all, or it needs to be the same as the links in the header bar, or sub-pages of the page you are on at the time.
Not sure what 'Category' is all about tbh. If you click on the 'Uncategorized' (what does that mean?) link, it takes you to what looks like a kind of blog, with some random links at the top, and repeats a lot of the stuff on other pages.
'Archives' then takes you to more bloggy stuff and more repetition.
It says 'Comments are closed' at the bottom of pages, not sure what that means.
Sorry if that all sounds negative. It's a really good start, I just think you could make it so much better.
