Do you put on your CV that a position was part time?

I went back to work after DS1 and took a part time role which was less senior than my previous full time one.

I don't really want to put that it was part time as I don't want to draw attention to the fact that I probably had a baby, but also don't want people to think I was demoted within the company.

I have worked part-time for many years and have never referred to it at all when applying for new jobs / promotion, apart from when referring to salary where I would say X amount pro-rata. However, I must say I have never taken a demotion, returning to the same post after eight months, just on reduced hours. Personally I would be inclined to explain the decision to take a less senior role, otherwise I would be concerned at what else they might think (not up to job, demoted for disciplinary reasons etc.)
