I'm a fairly senior member of clinical staff. My boss (who I barely know as moved jobs just before ML) has asked me to meet her at 12.30 tomorrow-my first day back at work after 13 months.
I have no office (yet).
I have no patients to see yet.
I have never worked there before.
I don't know anyone else who works there.

Do I go in at 12.30 for the meeting, from home???

I asked someone else who also has this person as a boss via text message and she said that there is no test, it just means meet the boss then, but seriously, do I really go in this late on my first day back? It just seems so....lazyweird as going back to work and leaving my beautiful DS is such a big thing for me and this seems such a strange way for the first day to go.

what would you do?

I would go in at my normal start time. I would assume that the meeting was never intended to be scheduled at the start of your working day - it's just a convenient time for your boss.

I must say, I'd be a bit freaked out at not knowing where I'd be working/who with etc after 13 months off! Did you not do any 'keeping in touch'?

Good luck for tomorrow.

I would also go in at the normal time.

Why not go see your new boss when you get in and ask him/her about your office arrangements etc?
