I recently did an interview at a company I really want to work for. It has been a week since the interview and i already sent a thank you letter for the interview and i still have not gotten a response. I did not ask how long the selection process would be and don't want to be annoying by calling too frequently. Can i call today to inquire whether the position has been filled? If it has been filled sob sob can i express a desire to be contacted in the event a position opens up that meets my skills and abilities? And how do i ask why i didn't make it??? I am assuming that it's because i didn't ASK when i should expect the call especially since it is a sales position but i still want to know for sure!It really hurts when you were so confident you were in:-(
