Night shifts - part time or full time? Advice please!

I have applied for a part time position as a care assistant in a local care home doing the night shift - 9pm-8am (DH will have the boys). I know someone who already works nights there & they say it's pretty quiet.
The care home have just called to say they have a full time position available too now & asking if I'd like to be considered for that too.

Part time is 2 nights a week, Full time is 3 night one week, 4 the next.

DS1 is in school full time, ds2 is 11 months.
DH's work is fairly flexible & if I worked part time when I get my rota he could swap his days off to be the days after I've come off nights.
Though if I worked full time there'd be the odd day I may have to 'brave it out' until DH finishes work, which can range from 1pm - 6pm, if another family memeber couldn't help out etc.
When ds2 is 2 he'll be going to playschool 3 mornings a week so wouldn't be so much of an issue then.

Any advice on what you'd do?

I hadn't considered full time at all as the position wasn't advertised when I applied, though I'm being tempted by the money (it's very good money), we could move out of rented and get a much better mortgage, do more with ds's that we couldn't otherwise afford.

Sorry it's long and rambly
I've said I will phone them back at 4!

I said to consider me for both in the end, I didn't want me saying not to make them not consider me for anything at all.
After all if I get offered I don't have to accept if I can't arrange things around it

I would def say do 2nights /week.

I worked 2 nights/week for a yr and found it utterly exhausting.
The constant being tired because of changing back to daytime life and not really having a good enough sleep during the day.
I have to say nights didn't suit me- I found it hard to get enoughsleep in the day and when I was off I couldn't get to sleep at tnight.
It would've killed me to do more than 2.
Hope you cope better than I did. I am on days now .
